About The Stargazer
The Stargazer is a Wetherspoon pub by the O2 arena in London, open daily. Security staff on the door hold bags or bottles and return them when guests leave, so visitors can go in without carrying those items around. Inside, a large restaurant space provides the seating. The food menu runs from fish and chips made with cod to a classic burger and pizza, and orders are placed through the app. Breakfast is served until 11:30.

Customer Review Summary
Good food at good prices, ideally before a concert at the O2, is what most reviewers come for. One diner calls the chips the best they have had at a Spoons, and the fish is described as fresh and skinless. A freshly cooked pizza and an app order that arrived exactly as requested also earn praise, and several note quick service despite concert crowds. Staff are called friendly, helpful and lovely, including toward a wheelchair user, and the outdoor seating is liked. Complaints are more varied. One family group says a manager barked at them for moving tables after a staff member had approved it, and they walked out. Another found a classic burger dry and burnt. One reviewer found the menu limited, with no scampi or millionaire's shortbread, and breakfast stops at 11:30. Indoor seating felt cramped when busy, some tables were not clean, and the outdoor heating buttons are hard to reach from a wheelchair. One diner who got dirty cutlery had it dealt with and the table cleaned right away on request.

“Great environment and good food too. The restaurant inside is massive, but still during weekends it can be very full especially in the evening. They serve breakfast but only until 11:30, wish they can do all day breakfast or at least extending till the early afternoon. Some tables aren’t really clean but it’s just typical Wetherspoon style so other than that all good.”

“Good selection of drinks, good price. Nice location. They have security who confiscated my cider bottle I was carrying in my backpack. They give it back after leaving though, so no worries.”

“I was staying locally so came to visit yesterday stargazer as I do love a spoons. They didnt have Worthingtons on the drinks menu but that's ok. The 🍕 I had was freshly cooked and very nice.”

“I came here for lunch with my social group. The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent as I have found at all branches of Wetherspoons. However, the food choices were very limited compared to other branches including my home branch, and I found I could have cod and chips but not the scampi I would have gone for. I also found that millionaire’s shortbread was also not available. That marked them down three stars as far as I am concerned.”

“Really good Wetherspoons in a great location. Can't fault the food and drinks for the prices you pay. Ideal for a quick stop whilst at the O2.”
