About Super Wok Liverpool
Super Wok Liverpool is a small Chinese wok restaurant in Liverpool, at 12 Jennifer Ave. A robot brings food to the table alongside the waitress, so dishes arrive from both. The kitchen cooks salt and pepper chicken with satay sauce, and the noodle dishes include chow mein and veg noodles with black bean sauce. Guests can choose an unlimited Pepsi option with their meal. Payment is by cash or bank transfer only, with no card payments, and a notice at the entrance says so.

Customer Review Summary
Noodles draw the most praise, from veg noodles with black bean sauce to a chow mein special and a pad thai. Reviewers describe tasty food that is not greasy, and several call the portions big. Prawns and barbecue spare ribs with salt and pepper sui mais also earn mentions. Diners enjoy the robot that carries dishes to the table, and they describe the staff as friendly. Portions and value draw mixed comments. One reviewer found the hot and sour soup too small, another called the food expensive for the portion sizes, and a former regular says portions and quality have slipped since the ownership changed. Fried rice with prawns and teriyaki sauce struck one diner as overly sweet, and drinks were called expensive. One delivery order arrived well past its estimate and only warm. Other takeaway customers single out the foil lined insulated bags that kept the ribs and sui mais hot.

“Had a takeaway order of barbecue spare ribs and salt and pepper sui mais. Tasted amazing. But was impressed me more was they were delivered in these waterproof canvas foil lined bags. Food was hot due to it. Absolutely amazing. Every chippy should take note. I will definitely order again here. I like my food arriving hot, not like most establishments. Nothing bad to say, all positive”

“Went here around 8pm on a Sunday night. We were the only customers. Good service. Had chow main special. Really tasty £10.95. Loads of food so took half home. Lots of parking at the front. Quick service, part robot, part waitress.”

“I used to love this place when the first owner had it one of my favourite places for a salt n pepper chicken with satay sauce 😋 but since who ever has took over it or manages it now they just dont care the same way they did the portion sizes and food quality has gone a bit down hill if am honest”

“Food is amazing! The service is great, staff are always friendly. When I’ve eaten in nothing is too much trouble. Take out food is in fab little insulated bags. I’ve found when I’ve had Chinese food from other restaurants/Chipies it can be quite greasy, I’ve never had that here. Love the robot that brings the food to the table. Highly recommend.”

“Cafe like place but food is really good, decent portions and variety. Food comes via controlled robot, novelty I guess but something different. Food came within 15 to 20 mins. Friendly staff. Would come here again if in area. Loads of parking around shopping area.”
