“We visited this restaurant three weeks ago, afternoon tea is nothing like others posted here. But, my husband enjoyed it, so its alright. Unfortunately we were given an incorrect bill. Charged us 30 pound more. While mistakes can happen, what has been most disappointing is the way this issue has been handled. It has now been almost three weeks, and despite multiple phone calls and emails, the matter still hasn't been resolved. We were promised a refund but... understand that managers can be busy, but as customers, we deserve a direct response rather than having to constantly chase for an update. Instead, we've been passed from one person to another with no clear resolution. On a positive note, we would like to thank the staff member who has been trying to help us. We know this wasn't their responsibility, and we genuinely appreciate their help. We hope management takes customer service more seriously and resolves issues promptly. A billing mistake wasn't our fault, and customers shouldn't have to spend weeks pursuing a resolution.”

“Had a Sunday lunch here... It was fabulous All cooked to perfection. ..Make sure your hungry before the portions are really generous . I had the two meats roast...really good value for money . Lovely atmosphere and had a drink in the sun on the roof top.bar...I would highly recommend the food and service here.”

“Went for early doors dinner on a Wednesday we were one of three tables we sat down and ordered our drinks. handed menus., We were left for 20 minutes upon ordering we were then told The sushi Chef was not available that day so we only had a choice of six mains on the menu. My partner ordered that deep fried Korean chicken and loaded fries. I ordered the salmon and prawn skewers. We waited over 40 minutes to be served. The waitress Rachel was lovely and apologise for the Long wait and gave us two free drinks to compensate when the food came the fries were cold and soggy and the Korean chicken was cold and obviously not deep-fried. It felt like it had been made the day before my partner had two bites before he Hit shards Of bone in the breast it was inedible we sent the loaded fries back and the chicken. The manager came over and asked what the problem was whether it was the fact the chicken was cold or had bones in we said both obviously! They took it off the bill, which was kind of them the place felt soulless And needed a good clean, unfortunately we will not be returning after such an awful experience! Shame as the place has got really good potential.”

“We visited for the Sunday lunch set menu with my partner, which includes a sushi starter, main course, and dessert. We’ve been here several times before and have always enjoyed the food and experience, which is why this visit was so disappointing. Unfortunately, the sushi was not up to the usual standard. It wasn’t presented well, the rice was very hard, and it didn’t taste fresh. The main course was also different from what we had received on previous visits, and meat was hard, overcooked and burnt, were unable to finish it. My partner raised our concerns with a member of staff, who was very accommodating and handled the situation professionally. By that point, however, we had lost our appetite and decided to skip dessert and leave. The staff member spoke to the kitchen and kindly removed the charge for the sushi from our bill, which we appreciated. It’s a shame because we’ve always had great experiences here in the past. We hope this was just an off day, as we would like to see the restaurant return to the high standards that made us regular customers.”

“We both had a fantastic experience at Zenn Liverpool. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish, and we genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. Huge compliments to the chef, Anthony every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The service was friendly and quick, the cocktails were amazing, and the whole atmosphere made for a really enjoyable evening. We would highly recommend Zen and will definitely be back!”
