  “On a two night trip to Lincoln we decided to pop in for dinner and a glass of wine. Food was awesome. Two meals for £15 on a Monday night. We had 2 salads and a chicken parma. Absolutely delicious. Wine was great, and as it was quiz night we stayed for a few drinks and the quiz. Great fun. Lovely friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. Staff really welcomed us. Highly recommended if you are wanting something a bit different.”

  “Popped in and had some food on our trip to Lincoln. Pub recently been taken over by Simon & Claire, it’s had a bit of a makeover too. Very warm and friendly people, the meals we had were excellent and it had a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.”

  “We came across this lovely pub this evening and we are really glad we did. We had the fish and chip supper which was delicious, the pub is old and full of character, the team were friendly and happy to talk to us about all the interesting features within. Claire and Sam made the visit a memorable one, we will be returning when we visit Lincoln again later in the year.”

  “Great little pub on the river in Lincoln City centre. It has recently been taken on by new management and had quite a makeover. Very polite staff and quality service. The beer is good and I've had a few over the past few weeks. Wanted to wait until I'd eaten before leaving a review. Came and had the "Pie of the day" and was pleasantly surprised with an individual pie case filled to the brim with a delicious chicken, leek and wholegrain mustard filling. The veg was also perfectly cooked for my liking and the mash was well buttered. The pub comes with plenty of indoor seating and a quaint little walled in beer garden. Will certainly be back again to try out the rest of the menu. Overall great value for money and a lovely atmosphere.”

  “We had a Sunday roast chicken lunch today and it was delicious. Generous portions. New owners so friendly and gave us great service. We liked the bespoke children’s quiz sheet and won a free ice cream! We sat outside by the river in a very sunny spot. Relaxed atmosphere. Recommend this pub and we’ll be back.”

  “I’ve had a couple of brilliant nights out recently, and Saturday at Karaoke was absolutely fantastic! 🎤🍻 The atmosphere was brilliant, everyone was in great spirits, and it was just a genuinely great night overall. A big welcome as well to the new landlords, Claire and Simon, and a massive shoutout to Sam, Beth, Liv and the rest of the bar team.   “Had a lovely time at the Witch & Wardrobe today! We had a great Sunday lunch! The beef was absolutely delicious and had a fantastic selection of fresh veg and of course traditional roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding! Atmosphere was relaxed and we saw a few dogs head into the beer garden! Service was quick and friendly! Can’t complain & will be back for another delicious lunch! Oh must add - fab Selection of games to play too!”

  “Fab pub! We had a great time! Popped in after some shopping and had a lovely chat with the owners! Really friendly and even stayed for some food! Really quirky with lots of things to see around the pub which I love!! The pub had a fantastic vibe and we will be visiting again!!”
