“La Bottega Milanese has always been one of my favourite coffee shops, and I genuinely miss stopping by for a coffee. The quality is exceptional, with every drink expertly made using fantastic coffee, and the food and pastries are just as impressive. Despite how busy it often gets, the staff always provide friendly and efficient service, creating a welcoming atmosphere every time. It's clear why this place is so popular – the quality speaks for itself.”

“Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant first experience despite being extremely excited to try out. We travelled with two young children for this specific coffee shop but was left very disappointed. The customer service was terrible, they did not even utter a word or a smile, we were not even told who’s drink was who’s and where to collect so was left waiting. We asked for a sweet (ish) iced drink but was given a very bitter drink. Maybe we just didn’t match the “aesthetic” audience, nevertheless we were not treated right and had eyes rolled at us when picking a pastry (we literally took 30 seconds) yet they kept walking away despite not being busy. It’s safe to say we will not be coming back.”

“Absolute lack of management. 6 employees behind the counter, half on their phone, the other half ignoring customers. Straight up made eye contact with an employees and waved, trying to get their attention so I could get my sandwich. They just pulled out their phone while looking me in the eye and got busy on their phone. The music is EXCESSIVELY loud. Employees couldn't understand me from across the counter even as I started to raise my volume each time they made me repeat Coppa. Turn down the music, have even one employee taking orders. I was wondering: Why did it take 6 people and 20 minutes to just to pull out my sandwiches and put them in paper. It turns out it's because they were toasting them... After I told them I didn't want them toasted. They probably didn't hear me over the max volume club music blasting in here. Good lord... The Sandwiches weren't even that good for the price. Like... It was a pretty good sandwich... For £5.... Get it together lads.”

“Visited to see if our memories from the original La Bottega in the Light were as fond as we remembered. It feels like they have completely changed the vibe in this new location and it was oddly very dark in there fur no apparent reason. They have nailed the Italian dark roast style of coffee. If you like that I am sure it is fine. Not for me sadly. They have a bar full of La Marzocco brewers and Mahlkoenig grinders, however as always if you start with super dark roasted beans you will inevitably end up where they do.”
