  “Our party of six visited The Manor Farm Pub this evening and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. After being seated, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, both the starters and main courses were brought out at the same time. Had we been informed in advance that this would happen, it would have been less frustrating, but no explanation was given. The quality of the food was also below expectations. Much of it appeared to be overcooked, which affected both the taste and overall enjoyment of the meal. The staff were pleasant, but the long wait, poor timing of the food service, and the quality of the dishes meant that our visit did not meet expectations. Hopefully improvements can be made, as the pub itself has potential.”

  “Came here once for a family meal after a wedding, and then came for a family meal for a funeral. Living just over 200 miles, we have always been welcomed, and today, especially with Zoe who was our server. She was very kind and always had a smile which you don't always get. A very good worker.”

  “We often visit for Sunday dinners which are spot on. Being reluctant to visit for tea after the last very, very poor mixed grill yet another really poor meal. Having been at work all day and not eaten since 7:30 am I ate it, the chips and garlic bread were ok. The meal had been sat too long under the heat light, dried, tasteless and looking like an offering from a Bangladesh high street. We pulled the young lady at the welcome desk and unfortunately had to complain. Not like us but there ya go. The girls “ staff “ are always chirpy, and pleasant. The venue is a nice place, the offers an incentive to visit. I know new chefs must be a challenge for management, but I am sorry to say for good hard earned money the standards need to be raised. Once ok, maybe just a bad day for the chef. Twice it’s just not acceptable. We are more than happy to return on Sundays, but another teatime is probably not going to happen now, when good food is a short drive away. So sorry to relay such a bad impression, the food six months plus ago used to be really good. High five to the floor staff, you do such a good job under what must be difficult circumstances.”

  “Despite there being an almost two hour wait for food, when it arrived the food was delicious. One of the meals however (mixed grill) was missing the actual steak. Have to say the staff were so apologetic and offered the table a free round of drinks as an apology. The young lad and I’m assuming the manager on duty were so nice and friendly.”

  “The food was lovely Rosie our server was lovely she made sure to ask if our food was ok thank you Rosie me and my partner will definitely be coming back for the amazing food here at manor farm our only issue was the dessert had no meringue in it and only one scoop of ice cream the last time we came it had two scoops otherwise the dessert was amazing as I love a nice fruity sundae :)”

  “Went out for tea on Saturday 21st March we ordered 4 meals Tikka Masala, Rump steak ,Sticky pig burger and a child's meal with drinks just under £50 We had a long wait nearly an hour got there just before 5pm meal came at 5 past 6 obviously we had to order , and we where not impressed with the food Steak was very fatty curry was quite runny and as for my sticky pig burger meal well the picture is exactly what I received for £12.29 was a disgrace small hardly any fries no onion rings and the pulled pork in it was luke warm at best we have been a few rmtimes but won't be rushing back to say the least.”

  “Lovely staffs and very welcoming when we arrive. There was a singer/bingo performance happening and in it own room. The room did block off the sound but not much. Food was hot when arrive and we were very happy. We love the option to double some portions such as scampi. The lady at the bar was very knowledgeable when we ask about the type of beer they had and what percentage. We did had to ask one of the staff to re-wipe the table as it's felt sticky upon touching it. We felt the board to credited who are the chef is very good motivation and acknowledgement to the team behind the scene. Well done Dave and Kevin.”
