“A very busy pub, we didn't book bit they still got us seated with a few minutes. We're. So happy that the could as the food was fantastic. There was a short wait as there were a few large tables but my fish came out nice and hot with very crunchy batter which was excellent and the fish was really good, moist, tender and tasty. Mum had sausages and mash and again, it was really good. Mums only grumble, was that it was stacked up in a bowl and not on a plate but that's just the way she likes it.”

“Absolutely fabulous pub! Visited on Sunday so opted for a roast. The beef was cooked perfectly, lots of veg and large Yorkshire, as it should be. Good variety of drinks. The Pinot noir is very good. Enjoyed the utterly delicious brownie for desert. Excellent value for what I ordered. Atmosphere spot on too! Highly recommend visit!”
