  “Got our order wrong. Didn't read back the order to us so two of our items came out as something that we didn't ask for. I guess I should've checked the screen at the bar. When we brought it up to the staff that we got the nacho cheese bites instead of the Mac n cheese bites that we asked for, the other staff member told us the had already started eating it so wouldn't be able to refund or give us the correct item we asked for. How are we meant to know what is inside the fried nugget item without biting into it. Just give us the correct item and accept that you made a mistake. It probably only cost you £2 for the things anyway. And I also ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich but got the beef burger instead. I would've have said something to the staff member but I expected to get the same dense response again so didn't bother. Food was pretty mediocre at best anyway. At least there was 40% off the main items or definitely wouldn't have been worth the price we paid. Next time, teach your staff to read back the order before the customer pays for their food. Pretty easy to prevent this mess up.”

  “A great atmosphere for the football. Affordable pub snacks, enjoyed the kinder vinderloo fries! Cool beer and ent of tvs to watch the game. The staff running around in the heat were amazing and quick, and at the Bar equally as amazing from girl serving (she was great and friendly)”

  “Went here with my partner and his guide dog to celebrate his birthday. It was a last minute change in plans. Service was outstanding, food came in good time, didn’t feel rushed. The food tasted incredible, beautifully well cooked. The refurbished pub is lovely.”

  “The welcome was lukewarm, the person seemed quite blasé and unenthusiastic (I think she was cleaning cupboards so we interrupted her:short with greyish blouse). The service from the second person who served us (taller lady white blouse) was lovely. She was much more attentive and welcoming to us). The person who brought out our food (who’d been on maternity leave) was nice and also much friendlier. My meal (southern fried hunters chicken) was ok but I’d say slightly over cooked for my liking, bacon bordering burnt.”

  “Had the turkey roast and the macaroni and cheese with added BBQ pulled pork and they were both delicious. Food was prepared fast and had a lot of care behind them. The service was excellent, all very positive and attentive staff. Good personalities all round. The atmosphere was excellent! everything was clean with plenty of room.”
