  “We visited the pub today and wanted to say a big thank you to Sasha, who looked after us. She was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and a real credit to the team. We are both vegetarian and ordered the halloumi gyros. Unfortunately, we found a few stray pieces of chicken in the meal, which was disappointing. However, Sasha handled the situation brilliantly. Her professionalism, kindness, and excellent customer service really turned what could have been a much more frustrating experience into a positive one. Mistakes can happen, but great service makes all the difference, and Sasha is a real asset to your team.”

  “I visited this lovely place by chance, and found all staff very welcoming and friendly, as for the food you can't beat it everything was delicious and cooked to perfection, prices are not over the top I can't recommend visiting them enough, thank you for a lovely time.”

  “Popped in here for a bite to eat as passing through, lovely different menu to your normal pub, some lovely street food selections as well as your normal burgers, lasagna etc. food came out quickly despite being prewarned there would be a wait, it was hot and freshly cooked and decent portions too. I just wouldn't describe this pub as a gastro pub, great with kids or to watch sport with group of friends, not necessarily a romantic meal for 2 kinda place. Would come back again and recommend.”

  “Decor was fine, themed as you would expect from a chain pub. Service was good - we were greeted well and asked where we wanted to sit. I checked on the website beforehand and it said there was a ciabatta menu, however the menus we were given didn't reflect this. After asking, they were found in the cupboard as apparently they were new! Beer and wine selection good. We both chose different dishes from the ciabatta menu and although the menu looked exciting, we were totally underwealmed, we could have made better at home. The bread was under cooked on both ciabattas and the fillings quite sparce. We had one pub club at £9 and one saucy mis-steak at £10 and shared a triple cooked chips af £3.80. There was no lettuce in the first ciabatta and no cheddar in the second. Taste was alright, just nothing special. Did we complain? No - just wasn't worth it, we decided to spend as least time there as possible and move on. Service was absolutely fine.”

  “I popped in for lunch and was greeted by friendly staff. I wanted something light and selected the sausage wrap. Quite a strong flavour and plenty of sausage. A good portion. I thought the Crumble was okay albeit, not very hot and lots of Crumble to fruit ratio. Didn't need the extra sauce on the icecream but nice enough.”

  “I'm rating this based on having a plant based/vegan diet. The rating was given because there was only 1 vegan main meal option on the two menus. The only vegan option on the main menu and Sunday menu(no vegan choice) was the Moving Mountain Sheese burger which came with French fries and 2 onion rings £13. I had this with a side salad. The only other vegan item on the menu was mixed olives £4. The meal was good but only 2 onion rings was a bit mean and the side salad was fresh and crisp with a generous portion size for £3. The people I was with had beef roast and chicken roast which they enjoyed apart from one of the beef roasts had inedible meat which was was fatty and sinewy. The roasts came with a good selection of vegetables, a yorkshire pudding, gravy, horseradish sauce. They also had a side order of cauliflower cheese £4 extra which they really enjoyed. The noise level really spoiled the enjoyment for me as the football was on and the volume was uncomfortably loud and boomy. We asked for the volume to be turned down a little but it crept up again. It was difficult to have a conversation. I couldn't wait to leave and get away from the noise. We arrived at 2pm on a Sunday. Also, the lightbulb above our table was on it's way out so it flickered on and off throughout. The decor and furniture of the pub is really nice. It's spacious with a garden and is dog friendly. I would visit this venue again if they had more vegan options and I could sit somewhere quieter, preferably when the football isn't on. The UK has the most vegans on the planet. I realise I'm still in a minority but I think venues should be offering more plant based options which gives customers more ethical, environmentally friendly choices. Reply to owner; I did tell the young man that served us initially that I'm vegan. He went off to get me a vegan menu but then came back and said there wasn't one.”

  “Had a really great Sunday roast here. Price was reasonable, the portion sizes were great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The waitress's suggestion of the pumpkin spiced latte cake with custard was a game changer as well.”

  “Dog friendly spacious pub with garden. Visited September 2023 for Sunday roast that we had booked a week before. Warm friendly and efficient service. Good roast dinner, but not brilliant. Beef a little over and tough. Potatoes ok but parsnips criminally under done. Tasty carrot and swede mix but it was served cold. Nice Yorkshire pudding and stuffing ball. Cauliflower cheese is an extra but worth it and is big enough for sharing. One of our party had the pork and that was really tender and succulent with excellent crackling.”
