  “Had a really good experience here. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything was served promptly. The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and well prepared. Overall, a lovely place for breakfast with great service. I would definitely recommend it and will happily visit again.”

  “Last minute call to go to this pub. Booked a table on line. Did all the ordering from the app. Food was lovely. Really hot and served perfect. Really nice. Drinks arrived timely. The pub was quite quiet even being on a Saturday night. Lovely place and sure ill visit again when back around this way”

  “Dean and the team are always welcoming. The environment is aways clean, i have never had a reason to complain. There are always special deals on food with great prices but the refillable ground coffee is one of my favourites. I highly recommend a visit especially after the newly refurbishment.”

  “Dean served myself and a friend , had a good chat and banter about football and the world cup , food as usual was outstanding , I had waffles and ice cream , with my friend having a large breakfast , will definitely be back 5☆☆☆☆☆ service 10☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ banter”

  “Pub decor externally and internally is fine. Looks good from the outside. Food is basic. Nothing to write home about though. Ok if dining on budget or with kids etc. Service and waiting times for table clearance and next course was extremely slow and irritating. A very busy venue with only 3 women working it seemed. They were incredibly slow in everything they did. Seemed to lack any enthusiasm or care. Made the entire experience way longer than it should have taken. For each course we had to ask them to come and collect the plates and remind them we are waiting. On top of that, we had a few things missing from the order (only 1 person getting gravy on a roast for example. person missing a dinner entirely. Can't say I would ever return.”

  “Went for my bday,the referb makes more of a nice space and it’s easier to get to the bar.The food is amazing from previous experiences and what i’m writing about now.The mix up is a great idea due to having a variety of foods and vegan/vegetarian choices(i think i remember)the mix up steak is very nice but dry without sauce(from what i had)ANYWAYS SOZ FOR MAKING THIS REVIEW SO LONG.”

  “Visited this restaurant today for Mother's Day lunch and we had an amazing day. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, lots of staff so place was spotless and served very quickly. Very positive atmosphere. The food was beautiful, tasty and well presented. Staff very helpful with questions regarding allergies and served the food separately. Wide ramge of gluten free options. Prices very friendly. We'll definitely will be coming back in summer to sit outside so the kids can play at the playground. Thank you for a lovely day.”

  “Unfortunately, we turned up on VIP night as it has just had a major refurbishment. It looks absolutely stunning. Dog friendly if you eat in the bar area, great atmosphere, and extremely attentive host! Unfortunately we had just driven 5 hours to see a car at V12 that they didn't have and was absolutely starving so had to leave as im a diabetic and have certain tunes I can eat, but would of loved to stay.”

  “Amazing visit! The refurb is great, it’s barely recognisable! It’s really sleek and modern, they’ve taken some walls out and it’s made a huge difference! By far our favourite pub in the area. Everyone is so friendly, Dean always makes us feel welcome and his team are lovely! Food is always top notch. People complain on reviews about the food at hungry horse pubs, but when the prices are so reasonable and the food is brilliant - you really can’t complain!! They now have unlimited hot drinks and a machine which was very popular!”

  “You need to ensure you enter your registration in the pad at the bar otherwise you'll receive a parking fine. I popped in for lunch & the staff were friendly & accommodating of food preferences. I had the Philly steak toastie with just steak & cheese. The sweet potato fries were lovely, the steak was freshly cooked & pink in the middle but slightly overcooked for medium rare but still tasty. The cheese melt needed more of a cheddar bite but as I'd asked the peppers & onions to not be included, I think that altered the balance of flavours. I had the mini Bailey's profiteroles for dessert. They need chocolate with them to elevate them from nice to amazing!”
