“Firstly I was told breakfast was included in the price when I phoned to book. I was told not to worry as it was all the same price. I re confirmed this the night we. Arrived ( Friday) and was told by staff to " just arrive between 8.00 and 10.00 the next morning" . Other guests were told the same thing.. When we arrived for breakfast this had all changed and we were told that as we had not booked breakfast we would have to pay. We then had problems on the second morning , late meals ( 45 mins ) uncooked waffles and poor service. Other members of our party had additional problems with rooms but I'll let them include that in their own review. Very odd about the differing versions of events with breakfast though!”

“The guys at Mill on the Soar are great. My wifes grandparents stay here regularly and they always say how much they love it and are well looked after. The staff go above and beyond for them. We went for a meal tonight and the food was top notch and reasonably priced. Our server Maz was friendly and helpful.”

“The rooms are a disgrace and in need of a lot of TLC. There were many things wrong that shoud have been fixed but have just bneen left. Very poor management and a serious lack of quality control. There is no excuse for this type of problem.”

“Stayed with family the night before a local wedding, everything was as promised. Great, good quality rooms, plenty of parking, nice garden. Also had evening meal for 20 of us, all food came out together, piping hot and very tasty. Whole team did a brilliant job looking after us all. All great value too. Would visit again and definitely recommend.”
