  “Popped in as was travelling through the area and fancied lunch. Big pub, but dead friendly welcome - sat in table in a quiet area and had a lovely burger and pizza - pretty good value for money. Shame I don’t live closer as would come again.”

  “Food was beautiful. It was lovely last week aswell.. Highly recommend The Corner house..The menu has a great choice for everyone..We will definitely be returning. Staff are very welcoming”

  “Had a lovely relaxing experience today. Staff were really accommodating to my dogs bought out some treats and some water after their long walk Food was excellent and up to standards. Definitely visit again!☺️”

  “Had a lovely meal here last Sunday with my family. Haven't been to the pub in a very long time as it just went downhill on food and service, but heard it had been taken over, so decided to give it another try. It was lovely.. food was really tasty, good size portions and good value for money, ( we had a voucher!!) Nice to see a few more vegetarian options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tho they were standing chatting at the bar quite alot of the time. It was quiet in there, so didn't wait too long for our food. Definitely be back soon.”

  “Somehow we thought we'd seen more vegan options on their reviews, but nonetheless we found a number of tasty mains and sides that satisfied. The corn on the cob was a little odd; it was wrinkled like it had sat for a bit, yet simultaneously the temperature of the surface of the sun. Boiled, refrigerated, and microwaved, maybe? The vegan chilli with corn chips, rice, guacamole, and sour cream was good, as was the vegan Thai curry. The onion rings were... a bit sad and soggy, and then dipping sauce was... table ketchup. Ditto for the garlic dough balls; the vegan dip option was ketchup. Still, we were famished after the Battle of Bosworth, and soldiered through it all, with a couple of pints of Inches cider.”

  “We ordered from the app. What was on the app did not reflect the drinks that were offered. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks only to be told that peroni on the app was not sold anymore. Then had to wait another 10 mins to get oir drinks. Only had a choice of 2 wines on the app, the most expensive but if you went to the bar they had more choice. On the jacket potato with beans and cheese I only had a dessert spoon of beans! After my response they said they would take my comments on board!. They seem like they don't care. We try to support local pubs but they don't seem to care about there lack of service. Obviously that is why it wes quiet.”

  “Very poor experience. Upon arrival I was advised to use the app to order to save 10% on drinks which is lovely. However pretty much everything showing out of stock on the app. Spoke to the staff and was told they could do surf and turf he would add it onto the app. He added it is still wasn't available on app so had to order at bar anyway. When ordering another customer came to the bar and the barman just started talkng to them completely cutting me off and then said sorry that one was an easy one?! Didnt have the drinks we wanted and Wasn't offered the discount even though it wasn't my fault I couldn't order through the app. Then the starters were delivered separately so my partner was finished before mine came out. When I ordered I was Informed that the dough balls might not come out as a starter as he would have to go make them himself??? Then they came out burnt. I sent them back only to be told to try them they won't taste it it's jusy how the pizza oven makes them look. So I did and they definitely tasted burnt. Sent them back again and was offered a refund if the starter. The find then came out the steak was cooked to well done even though asked for it rare. The poppadom and naan bread on the curry were burnt. I had to ask for the chutney dip. And my childrens dippers were rock hard. At this point we left the food and walked out. Oh also the Pepsi max was flat. Sorry for essay just a very poor experience and even poorer food”

  “This was the chip portion for my sons kids meal which I think is a bit of a joke I would’ve of paid for more if it was an issue but got ignored when I suggested this”

  “Where we were seated was wonderful, the food was amazing. However, the service was not good at all, no one came over and asked if everything was alright, there was 3 staff members at the bar all talking, I ordered 2 coca colas, 1 for me and my wife, I was trying to chat with them, telling them i had a bad shoulder, so could only carry 1 drink at a time, none offered to carry the other, and the pub was almost dead, so it would not have hurt for them to offer. Just found, friendly service absent.”
