  “I was.one of those people that comes just before closing time - I am sorry, I genuinely did not know what time it was! I was served by I believe the manager and was served with patience, and without the sligjtest inclination it's about closing time. Food was delicious. Nobody rushed me. Nobody told me to take my food and go away . Thank you for your hospitality!”

  “I have been to many different Nando's restaurants but this is the first I felt compelled to write about. The food quality was significantly better than at other Nando's I've dined at and the service was very friendly and forthcoming, what you'd expect at a restaurant where you pay hefty service charge in fact. So big thanks and well done to the staff working here, you really do go above and beyond without being asked.”

  “After placing a substantial order via the Nandos app for delivery, everything was going smoothly until my order arrived. Once inside, it was noticed that part of my order was missing. I immediately tried to call the Hemel Hempstead restaurant, however only got through to customer services in the Philippines. Unfortunately, the operator was extremely rude and would only process a refund, not request the missing food to be prepared and redelivered. I eventually managed to calm my 7 year old down as he was missing his dinner, before finally speaking to to duty manager at Hemel Hempstead. He did apologise for the missing food order, and stated that there was nothing he could do. He was unwilling to even compromise until I explained that I'd just has to spend the last 10 minutes waiting to speak to someone, who was less then helpful, all whilst trying to calm my 7 year old down. He apologised several times, before finally submitting and agreeing to re-cook the missing food, however expected myself to drive across town and collect it, as there were no drivers available. Totally unacceptable to expect a paying customer to drive and collect food that has already been paid for, never put in the bag and especially for delivery. Whilst all this was happening, my son decided not to have any Nandos as he was too upset and opted for something else from home. Once off the phone, and managing to sort some other food out for my son, I returned to my very own stone cold meal. Far from brilliant!!”

  “We went during a very busy period. The majority of staff were trying their best, although it seemed the senior members were getting a little stressed or impatient. Food was good seeing as how busy it was, no complaints there.”

  “Very busy on the weekends so it is worth booking ahead. We had a 25 minute wait for our party of 6, no booking. Staff all friendly and accommodating has expected. And food is the typical nando's quality.”

  “The manager of this branch she refused to take our order while they were taking other’s order ( visible in the photo) and asked me and my family leave 15 minutes prior to close!!! ( while my son was starving and wanted Nandos so much) With excuse that they don’t have enough staff to serve, which was a lie since others were getting served.”

  “Above average Nando’s experience! Went in for lunch on a Monday and it was quiet which probably helped. The butterfly chicken burger is definitely a recommend from me, tasted great, bun nicely toasted and sauces were good - what’s not to like. Peri-salted chips consistently decent. All the sauces were well-stocked as per. Had the bottomless strawberry froyo which was good value. Decent service.”
