“MESSAGE FOR THE COOK at Garston Pearl Ocean: "would you be happy to see your child eat overcooked dried scampis? I bought your scampis and they were dark brown on the outside, and scampi inside were dried up to nothing on inside. Clearly these were NOT fresh scampis but RECOOKED from leftover food, obviously to get rid of old food was money grabbing....£10 for 10 burnt scampies, and you did NOT care if a child eat them and could get sick! Disgusting 🤮”

“First visit here large cod and chips fair price and portion size very big both cod and chips well big enough for 2 ..will be back next time just regular cod and chips will do .. plenty choice for other things kebabs etc and price wise all look lower than most around here Watford North ..”

“We only started visiting this place after the owner assured us that they are vegetarian friendly and proud so!! Tonight our shock and disappointment came as we realised it was all a huge lie!!! They cooked our falafel and halloumi wrap on the exact spot where the just cooked chicken and lamb!! Shame on you! liars If you are vegetarian please avoid”

“I've been visiting this chippy for about 2 years. I visited on 31 July 26 and was a bit disappointed to see a staff member preparing empty food boxes and stacking them on the ground in the customer waiting/eating area. Considering these boxes are for food, I didn't think this was a good idea. I've not seen this practice before here and I really hope this is discontinued immediately please as its unhygienic and off putting. Thanks”
