All her staff are so helpful, kind, respectful, and welcoming, and they create such a cozy atmosphere. 🥰 A great manager really can change everything in a place, and Nethu is a perfect example of that.   “I visited this restaurant today with my 3-year-old daughter and, unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were seated quickly and initially everything seemed fine. Our drinks arrived promptly after ordering, but about 10 minutes later I stepped away briefly to use the restroom. When I returned, our entire table had been cleared, including untouched drinks and my daughter’s colouring items. It was both surprising and frustrating that staff assumed we had left. When we asked for the table to be reset, the drinks were brought back, but the glasses were dirty not once, but twice, and had to be sent back again. This only added to the frustration. After waiting over 40 minutes for our food, we were then told by the same waiter that our order had not been put through the system. Being asked to repeat the order at that point was the final straw, and we decided to leave. Leaving a restaurant hungry with a young child is not an experience any customer should have. What stood out most was the complete lack of care, urgency, or apology from the staff. The service felt disorganized and inexperienced throughout. The staff appeared untrained, inattentive, and unconcerned about the customer experience. I am a regular visitor to Wagamama and usually enjoy the food, but this particular location had the poorest level of service I have encountered. As I left, I felt compelled to advise others waiting outside to consider alternative options. Sadly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I won’t be returning.”

  “We went for lunch at their launch event ahead of opening on 27th May and they did a great job! The new Wagamama menu has some great additions and the food was lovely. The shiitake otsumami side dish was a taste sensation and they cooked it perfectly! I’ve had the crispy chilli mushrooms before, but the recipe must have changed and they were sooooo much better. Less batter, lightly covered and super crispy. Considering the staff are new and it was their first day, they did a grand job at welcoming us, being attentive but not too much and it was a really nice atmosphere. Parking was a breeze and much much easier than central Watford and a bonus it’s free! Good luck for opening day next week and thanks for such a great experience on your first day.”
