About The Castle, Harrow
The Castle, Harrow is a pub on West Street set inside a Victorian building where original 18th century fixtures remain part of the interior, alongside wooden floors and open fires. The kitchen runs a menu of 35 dishes, including Padron peppers with smoked Maldon salt, braised pork ribs, and a bread basket to start. Woodfire pizza also runs on the menu, and a Sunday roast is offered with both vegetarian and carnivore options. The pub takes walk-ins rather than reservations. Wall clocks and original lamps remain fitted throughout the room, alongside the wooden floors, giving the space its Victorian character without any modern refit. Scampi pop corn and gyoza also feature among the starters.

“Just seen a 1 star review for this place... Please totally ignore it (must be a competitor without a proper profile). This place is amazing... The woodfire pizza is probably the best I've had in Harrow. Me and my friends are here for the England World Cup game and had a table booked. The staff are fantastic and super friendly. The burgers look amazing too, will be bringing the family here for lunch and drinks very soon! The manager (Jesal) is a lovely guy with a great personality”

“My husband and I have such a special connection to this pub. We held our wedding reception here two years ago, and the team made it such a memorable day. We decided to come back to celebrate our second wedding anniversary, and once again …”

“Excellent pub! The drinks terrace is excellent. We’re here watching the game now. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the pizza - WOW! Unbelievable! Ignore all of the bad reviews. Special shoutout to Jesal for helping to reserve our table and all the staff for their friendly service and best vibes”

“What a lovely find. Located at the height of Harrow on the hill. This pub has a lovely beer garden up a set of stairs beside the pub. It reminded me of a tucked away garden in Italy. So unexpected. The beer garden has a basic bar of its own so that basic beverages can be purchased here with ough goon into the main indoor pub. For cocktail sans such like you have to purchase your drinks at the main. Bar and bring it to the beer garden. If you are looking for something different then this place ticks the box.”

“Our favorite pub on Harrow on the Hill has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, lovely Christmas decor with original 18th century fixtures. Pleasant staff, great service, and the most delicious Sunday roast for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Highly recommend for any occasion.”
