Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return to The Village Inn mainly for the food and the welcome, with the steak and burgers named most often. One praises the chicken burger, another the burger with onion rings and soft cheese, and others the fish and chips, the pork belly bites and a fish cake. Close behind are the drinks: local cask ales pulled straight from the cask, a varied wine list and an excellent G&T. Service comes up repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, with one server making visitors feel like regulars and a chef coming out to make recommendations. Several mention live sports on the screens, a themed music night where everyone danced, and a relaxed local atmosphere that regulars use for weekly meetups. The one real complaint concerns a Sunday roast for two: the beef and chicken were overcooked, the potatoes soggy and the gravy tasteless. Staff responded by bringing extra, less cooked beef and two free desserts, which the reviewer credited while still hoping for changes.

“We’re travelling from India and stumbled across The Village Inn in Ealing—honestly, the best local pub experience we’ve had so far.Atharva looked after us and he was an absolute legend. His hospitality was next level and he made us feel like regulars straight away. He recommended the fish and chips, the burgers, and the steak, and every single dish was spot on.As a massive bonus, he really knows his beer. He recommended we try the local cask ales, and getting a proper pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Young’s Original pulled straight from the cask was an absolute highlight.Great local vibe, live sports on the screens, and amazing service. Huge shoutout to Atharva for making our night. We’ll definitely be back before we head home!”

“The Village Inn is an absolute standout, and Atharva is a legendary host who made our night unforgettable. His hospitality was next level, treating us like regulars from the moment we arrived. He helped us navigate the menu, and his recommendations—the steak, chicken burger, and the fantastic variety of wines—were all spot on. The food was delicious, and they have an impressive wine list to perfectly match your meal. Great vibe, live sports on the screens, and top-tier service. Huge thanks to Atharva and we’ll definitely be back!”
