About Teatro Hall

In a large open hall with a high ceiling, Teatro Hall is a bar in London at 61 New Broadway. The food comes from a pizza oven, and the pizzas include the queen bee and the diablo. Zucchini fries are among the starters on the same food menu. The drinks side centres on cocktails that the bartender makes from an inventive cocktail menu. A happy hour brings drinks deals as well.

Customer Review Summary

Food draws the most praise at Teatro Hall, especially the pizzas, with reviewers naming the queen bee (goats cheese, sweet potato, hot honey and pesto) and a spicy diablo. Zucchini fries come close behind, praised by two diners, along with a truffle mushroom toast one calls the most delicious thing in Ealing, and a slow beef rigatoni. Cocktails and happy hour drinks also earn credit, as do the high ceiling, the spacious room and the church view. Several describe friendly bartenders and attentive servers. The main complaints concern service and value. A group of 21 at a bottomless brunch described condescending management, a waitress rolling her eyes at a request for more prosecco, and food arriving at different times, with one guest served long after everyone else. Another diner was frustrated that a Monday pizza discount for Filmworks residents had been cancelled without warning. One reviewer finds it pricey and notes the drinks menu lacked prices and a cola. Another family's doughnuts arrived late after an order seemed lost, and the waiter followed up and gave them on the house.

“We were recommeded Teatro Hall by some friends and really enjoyed our visit. They have a generous happy hour for about 4 hours where beers and spritzs are £6. The starters were very tasty and they had just changed the menu. We had the padron peppers, aranchini, zuchini fries and regular chips. We were served by Pryanshu and Shani and they were amazing. The mains were also delicious and they have an awesome pizza oven the diablo pizza was spicy. Their pastas were just as yummy. I especially enjoyed my slow beef rigatoni and the staff were kind enough to bring us some fresh chillies. It wasn't busy when we arrived but there were other groups and couples there too. I would definately return, I think we might have over done it with the drinks though.”

“Had a great time here. The atmosphere was really nice and the service made it even better. Nino, the bartender, was super friendly and made some amazing cocktails. He also took the time to chat with us about Sicily, where he’s from, and gave us some really helpful tips for our upcoming trip. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers. Overall, we were very happy with both the service and the place Highly recommend.”

“Came here for a birthday bottomless, 21 of us! We all tipped. Food was genuinely fantastic, I had the queen bee pizza (goats cheese and sweet potato with hot honey and pesto) - sublime, thank you to the chefs. Management and service was horrible. Treated quite badly, probably due to our group size, but a lot of our guests are in hospitality so we do recognise good and bad service. Management were condescending and very rude, made us feel rushed. The male waiter was very sweet bless him, he went out of his way to meet our requests. However, one of the waitresses rolled her eyes at a request for more prosecco…at a bottomless “generously” flowing bottomless brunch… Booked months in advance so very disappointed with the service. Everybody was served food at different times, I waited 30 mins after everyone else was served, and I ordered first. However, food was fantastic.”

“Came for a Thursday night and had an absolutelly fantastic time. Waiter Oslem was amazing and manager stepped in to help when restaurant got busy. I think I even saw her working the line in the kitchen. Food was delicious, drinks arrived quick. Despite being busy service was quick. Great team. Thank you!”

“We visited Teatro Hall for the 1st time last week. We loved it and will definitely be back. Shani was really attentive. She moved us to another table so we could have more space and suggested the zucchini fries which were amazing. The cocktails were delicious too. Compliments to the bartender!”
