“Went for an ITISON afternoon tea. The dining room was light and welcoming, staff friendly and although we arrived a bit early they were very accommodating. Drinks order was taken and they happily swapped out a prosecco for a soft drink. Afternoon tea stand arrived, waiter described all the items, took our tea order and left us to it. Tea is loose leaf. I tried the Gunpowder tea, which neither waiter we had knew what it was and no one had ever ordered it before. Well, clearly they were wise. It tasted of nothing. But they happily swapped it for some Earl Grey when I asked. We were left to peacefully enjoy our food, but they were never far away if we wanted more tea etc. We weren't rushed out and spent a good hour/1.5 hours enjoying our food and chatting. Food was tasty, with 3 open sandwiches each, 4 cakes each and a plain and fruit scone each. Plenty jam and clotted cream too. Would happily visit again. Good central location too, just off George Square. (Weird section in pic is just where I removed a person's chest from the photo 😂)”

“Upon walking in this place was stunning. I would definitely like to come back again. Probably even take an overnight hotel stay. Staff were excellent. The meals were superb. I had seen the instagram page and I had noted the Hazel bar & restaurant as a must visit. I was very happy with the dining and drinks here. Highly recommended.”
