  “Likely the best breakfast/brunch in Glasgow Had an incredible experience here on a Saturday afternoon. Even with it being a busy weekend rush, the service was remarkably quick and the staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming throughout. The portions are wonderfully generous—you definitely won't leave hungry! Brilliant independent spot with a fantastic vibe. Easily one of the best spots in the city. Can't wait to come back.”

  “Very good food, friendly staff, had a really good time. The range of food is very broad: breakfast, lunch, sweets/desserts. Most include vegetarian and vegan options too. I had baked eggs with butter beans and roasted peppers & onions with sourdough and it was an absolute delight. Portion size is very generous, it was hot and warming as well as tasteful. Waiting time wasn‘t too long, even though the dish was made to order. It was presented appealingly as well. As I am dairy intolerant the waitress brought vegan butter to go along with the dish, which is very thoughtful. It wasn‘t busy when I first came so walking in is definitely possible early in the day.”

  “The staff are friendly and we came without reservation at 9:20 AM, they have arranged a table for us (we were 5) for one hour The food was excellent, we finished all of it. It did not take time nearly 20 minutes It’s near the hotel we are staying at. I think I will come again”

  “I popped in to pick up my to good to go bag. The atmosphere is very open and natural and the staff were friendly. The bakes themselves were very fresh and I like the little counter by the front showing a huge variety on their menu. The empire biscuit was my favourite.”

  “Wonderful and attentive service! Excellent maitre d' (hostess) and friendly waiters. Prices are a bit high, but the portions are very large, and everything was delicious! There's Wi-Fi and phone charging, which is very important! I definitely recommend visiting if you're in Glasgow.”

  “We had the vegan brunch and cake the next day (mango cream cheese cake and vanilla blueberry vanilla cake), both were amazing! The portions are big, be mindful not to order too much to avoid waste. I really liked that all the single use items are environment-friendly. It would have been nice if the cakes were a bit cold instead of room temp, but still they were delicious. The smoothies were also amazing, and the staff very kind. Thank you :)”

  “Be sure to make a reservation, this place is busy and with good reason. It might take a minute to get seated but your food will come out within minutes of ordering. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Love my avocado toast with eggs and prcceeded to destroy it with ease. My wife’s Veggie bake was a huge portion that I was able to assist with. Fantastic experience at this brunch space.”

  “I would not recommend this place at all. We visited yesterday for breakfast and initially ordered the avocado smash on sourdough, which to be fair, was delicious. We also ordered the “Croque Gary”, which sounded amazing on the menu. Unfortunately, the wrong dish was brought out — a regular croque monsieur with ham instead of black pudding. In hindsight, I almost wish I’d just kept it because the one bite I had was actually very good; nicely toasted with a great crunch. I politely pointed out the mistake to the waitress, who apologised, and of course mistakes happen in busy restaurants. However, by the time the correct order eventually arrived, my girlfriend had already finished her meal, which completely ruined the experience of having breakfast together. To make matters worse, the replacement dish had clearly been rushed. The bread wasn’t toasted properly, the middle was soggy and inedible, and the béchamel sauce was just a sloppy mess because it hadn’t been cooked through. What disappointed me most wasn’t even the mistake itself, but the complete lack of effort to make things right. When I explained to the waitress how disappointed I was, the response was simply, “I’ll pass that on to the kitchen,” with no real apology or attempt to rectify the situation. The staff seemed more interested in forced small talk like “Got much planned for the rest of the day?” than actually ensuring customers have a good dining experience when something goes wrong. It’s a shame because some of the food was genuinely decent, but the service and handling of the situation completely let the place down. It was supposed to be my birthday breakfast, and I didn’t want to cause a scene and make the morning worse, but unfortunately we left feeling very disappointed and certainly won’t be returning.”

  “It was really busy when we were in so it took a while to serve us but I guess that's par for the course on a Saturday. Food was ok, we had the fry which had some really disappointing 'home made' baked beans. Get some Heinz and it would have been better. The other egg dishes looked better, probably should have tried them. Coffee was nice but very small cups.”
