  “Lovely place, highly recommended. Great atmosphere with a fantastic Brazilian soundtrack. Gorgeous caipirinha cocktail. The Sunday barbecue is delicious, authentic and worth it. The service is warm, friendly and attentive. A special thanks to Wesley, who made it even more enjoyable. A big shout-out to all the Brazilian expats in Scotland: if you are homesick, the black bean stew (feijoada) is the real deal; it simply tastes like home.”

  “Phenomenal place, we went on Sunday evening for the unlimited Brazilian BBQ night. Through itison it was fantastic value for money at just £25 per person. The food was amazing the staff bring round various types of meat ranging from chicken tighs, wings, hearts then beef you have a choice of garlic beef, rump, ribs, sirloin steak, beef rump cap then pork you have Brazilian sausage, honey mustard smoked pork, pork ribs. You can also pay a £5 supplement and have lamb chops included. You also get unlimited sides and sauces ranging from chips, rice, garlic, cheese breads, beef and kidney bean stews, potato salad. The staff were all very friendly and explained everything very well. You are given a card which you have green or red (green means more food and red means take a break). They were very quick bringing food out and took immense pride in their work. At just £25 a head it was exceptional value for money but even at the typical price of £37 a head it is still very good value and you could eat as much as you wanted and the food was quality was absolutely brilliant, never tasted more tender or high quality meat ever. We will be back soon.”

  “Special shout out to our waitress. I didn’t catch her name but she’s worked there for about 3 years and is so lovely, knowledgeable and attentive. The food here was great. We went for the sharing platter for two which has 3 set starters, a main to choose from which comes with chips and corn on the cob, and a choice of a taco each. Safe to say there it was good value because we were full after! The starters and main were so tasty and well presented. One of the starters is guacamole and they come to the table to prepare it fresh, which was fun. The tacos were on the more bland side. Perhaps needed some letting fresh in there to balance it out There is a nice bar area in the middle where they make the drinks which is also nice to see. Overall - highly recommend!”

  “Lovely lunch last Saturday with my friend. We had margaritas to start which were just delicious. Then we chose their sharing menu which was a great way to try lots of things like the ceviche and tacos and their famous gaucamole freshly prepared by your table. Everything was deliciously fresh which makes the biggest difference from other similar restaurants. The service was so attentive and easy going. Loved the atmosphere and the bar vibes. Food was beautifully presented.”

  “Great Modern chilled out atmosphere, staff are lovely and friendly, making the guacamole table side is also a nice touch as well and gives the restaurant it's own unique spin too. The Taco's, the Margarita's, the guac and chips were all great can't fault them, the red wine was beautiful as well.. Highly recommend you try the Beef Croquettes- Slow cooked beef, catupiry cream, house chilli sauce I cannot stop raving about them! Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu”

  “Tried their signature menu for 2 people. Really like that they mix the guacamole at the table. Our first time trying ceviche and it’s pretty good. The pastel de pollo is alright. The tacos are okay, tried the beef Burris one and the fish taco with caviar, both are a bit bland. Had the picanha which is the rump cap and picked chimichurri with it, the rump is cooked nicely. The Mexican corn on the cob is lovely. Overall the food is okay, good atmosphere and lovely presentation of the food.”

  “Highly recommend! The staff were honestly lovely - happy to tell us anything and to stop to chat if they had a second about the food and drinks. Would really like to visit on a weekend after our lovely waitress recommended it due to the entertainment on! The food was OUTSTANDING! Big standouts were the beef croquettes, birria tacos and the steak - the chimichurri was delicious too. And don't skimp on the desserts! The warm pink colada felt like a hug to eat (The tonka bean custard was gorgeous, I wish I had a bit more of it) and the trio of desserts was a knockout for sure!”

  “We attended the All-You-Can-Eat Brazilian BBQ which was really good. There are plenty of side dishes which they top up the through your visit if you need them. Chips, garlic bread, black bean stew & rice and dips among other things to get you going. But the meat comes round thick and fast and it’s all delightful…except the pork sausages. I wasn’t really a fan of those. Loved everything else though (Rump with Garlic and the Ribs being top of the list!) The service was fantastic (particularly from the dark haired girl with the nose-ring) but all staff were efficient and polite throughout. The place itself is really stylish and modern and has a touch of class about it. The toilets look great too for those of you interested in that sort of thing. There are cocktails aplenty! Would recommend for any sort of celebratory dinner or work do. The kids ate free on Sunday and whilst they were easily enough accommodated for there’s no set children’s menu so keep that in mind. Looking forward to a second visit soon!!”

  “I went to El Santo with a friend and it was honestly the best dining experience I’ve had in Glasgow. Our waiter Wesley was amazing, so knowledgeable, warm, and attentive. The manager Sam and bartender Arthur also made us feel so well looked after. I tried ceviche for the first time (octopus, whitefish, and prawn in lime juice with red onion) and it was absolutely delicious, octopus is a must try! The habanero margarita, passionfruit margarita, and smooth tequilas were out of this world. The atmosphere is authentic, vibrant, and beautifully set. This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Glasgow, I’ll definitely be back!”

  “The pan con queso and beef croquettes were amazing. I also really enjoyed the cauliflower gratin. First time I've had ceviche in Scotland, I don't usually like raw fish or sushi but I'd tried it a couple of times in Spain & thought I'd give it a go here. It was very fresh & flavourful. We're going to come back for their Brazilian meaty Sunday when we're next in town. The restaurant is very nice inside & well thought out.”
