Customer Review Summary
Cocktails are the main draw, with reviewers praising them as excellent, well made and tasty. Drinks named include the Glass Tears, the Dark Figments (one reviewer calls it complex and suggests trying it) and a tequila cocktail with tomato and basil that surprised its drinker. Others single out the bloody Marys and their olives. The menu is described as a second season of cocktails influenced by countries from Paris to Brazil. Close behind are the staff, called kind, knowledgeable and helpful, along with good music, very dim light and gorgeous art on the walls. The beer, spirits and wine selection also earns praise, and one reviewer likes that it sits near the station but away from the rowdy main street. Complaints centre on crowding: a tight squeeze, a wait for drinks, and a menu that differed from the one posted online. One reviewer found pints expensive and was put off by a toilet door that would not shut, marked with a handwritten sign saying it was broken. Some note upstairs seating is often free.

“This was a recommendation from one of the staff in Vieve. What a stunning place, super atmosphere, staff were brilliant and who’d have thought tequila would pair with tomato/basil. Oh. My. Days. A must stop if you’re on a cocktail tour of Glasgow!”

“My wife has been here a few times. My first time. If your charging nearly £7 for a pint at least have a toilet with a door that actually shuts rather than a A4 sheet of paper saying sorry I'm broken. What is it with the tampons and pads in a male toilet. Only had one drink, the music and bar staff were top notch but it just put a downer on our day, there are loads of places to go for a drink so sadly we will not be going back. I like how you turned on me to make it my problem, touché. I still don't get it though I worked on a building site all my life and have never met a fellow male who needed lady products. Being a Joiner my issue was with the door and the fact your charging so much and getting so little in return. The toilet actually reminded me of the toilets in Corfu.”

“Excellent cocktails Perfect service Cool ambiance Try the Dark Figments. That is a real complex cocktail I am sure you can’t get any where else.”

“Great establishment. Good selection at the bar across the board. Very nice vibe inside and its very close to central station, while still being out the way of rowdy main street.”
