  “My daughter paid £9 for a red wine which tasted like dish water. She politely asked the boy behind the bar if he wouldn't mind changing it. He rudely shook his head and said no and then proceeded to gossip about her with the other staff members. Rude, immature behaviour from incompetent staff. Needless to say she won't be back. Wouldn't recommend this place for the lack of customer service alone.”

  “I had been following this bar for a while on Instagram so when I came home was able to go visit. Lots of variety of flavours, great suggestions from the staff, between us I think we tried 7 different cocktails and each one was lovely though I have my favourite! I'll definitely return so that sums it up for me really 🙌🏻”

  “I found the two cocktails I tried incredibly sweet and one-dimensional, especially for the price. I also didn’t enjoy the ambiance, with tables packed into the bar. The servers were nice and I can’t really fault them, but as someone who loves a good cocktail and has had many in Glasgow and Edinburgh, this is a hard pass for me.”

  “Cute cocktail bar with outside seating. The cocktails are very delicious and super creative. My favourite one was the Nectar of the Gods & Tunnock vision The two guys behind the bar were also super friendly, will definitely come back next time we are in Glasgow!”

  “First time having a HOT cocktail! Served in a little ceramic pot. These were DELICIOUS. Lovely little bar, great atmosphere and fairly busy but not jam-packed or intense. Great service. I'm going again!”

  “Love this place. It has a really nice, relaxed vibe and the staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, without being overbearing. This is one of the few places I have found in Glasgow that can make you a savoury drink and they don't seem afraid to be creative. The bartender mentioned they used to do a parmesan and tomato martini, and honestly - that sounds immense. Bring it backkkk”

  “been here a few times and never disappointed. the drinks are excellent and the staff are attentive without being overbearing and have been great with my allergies too. come for the delicious cocktails and stay for the rotational pickle backs! highly recommend :)”

  “Fantastic, interesting, cocktails. The bar has a great atmosphere and the service is second to none. The Australian bartender is a wizard and works at another level. I've been in a lot of cocktail bars around the world and they are one of the best I've seen. Couldn't fault anything about the place, I think it is now my favourite cocktail bar in Glasgow. Never had a pickleback before and this is a dangerous new concept for me! Can't wait to come back.”

  “Incredible! The drinks are wonderful, the staff are knowledgable, confident and friendly, and the decor is fresh and clean. They also allow dogs in. It’s small enough to have a good atmosphere but the tables have enough space to allow you to hear each other. Living On A Pear is a delicious experience of a drink.”

  “Highly recommend. Really good cocktail & drink selection, as well as some of the classics if you fancy it (ie a martini). Staff are extremely friendly and know their stuff. Very dog friendly, which always makes a visit better right? Can’t wait to go back.”
