About Slug and Lettuce Glasgow
Slug and Lettuce Glasgow is a cocktail bar at 110-114 W George St in Glasgow, open daily with a late licence for late-night drinks. One Friday a month it runs Flamingo Bingo, three rounds of bingo played to live beats from the in-house DJ. The bar also hosts birthday and hen party groups. Cocktail sharers like the Pornstar Martini Tree are made for tables drinking together, and a boozy brunch with cocktails runs all week alongside a food menu. Table bookings are taken, and guests can order through an app or a QR code at the table. Other music nights include an 80s disco and karaoke, and Popworld sits upstairs in the same building.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the boozy brunch, with one group sampling most of the cocktails and calling the food lovely. Servers draw the most consistent praise, described as attentive and friendly, checking when drinks were nearly empty and offering cocktail recommendations. Elsewhere, one diner liked the burger and the sharer but found portions small, and another enjoyed a set menu on a dog friendly visit. One reviewer at an 80s disco found the DJ mixing not great and ordering drinks a bit of a nightmare. The sharpest complaints involve the kitchen and ordering. One diner reports three starters had run out, replacements arrived lukewarm, and the fish and chips had brick hard fish, mostly batter. Another describes a QR code order that took payment but was never received, forcing a reorder, with servers unhelpful and no to-go boxes available.

“Ordered via QR code and there was a fault with the order, it took payment out of my friends account but the order was not actually received. So she was out of pocket £60 and has to wait 24-48 hours for it to be bounced back and I had to reorder the meal from my card. I understand it is not the servers faults but they weren't helpful at all. To top it off, what kind of restaurant in 2026 doesn't keep to go boxes? Really ridiculous. Don't think about saving your food for home and preventing waste if you go here.”

“A group of 5 of us went for the boozy brunch and I could not fault it. The food was lovely and the cocktails were amazing. We sampled most of the cocktails available and we enjoyed them all. The venue is lovely and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The boozy brunch is amazing value for money and we will definitely be back”

The fish N chips the fish was brick hard ,mostly batter, and the tofu dish looked like absolutely nothing I ever seen before. First time here and deffo last”

“Aayisha made my experience at slug and lettuce a 10/10. She is such a kind and attentive server and I have recommended the resturant to others because of this. She made sure our food was great and checked up whenever our drinks were nearing empty. I will definitely be coming again. On top of the service the drinks were delicious and tasted amazing, the food was brilliant too and definitely made my experience here one to remember!”

“So Jayne was a lovely woman btw, she was the most attentive we have had, regardless of me being picky ordering at my bottomless brunch, had a laugh with her while ordering. She brought us drinks before we even had to reorder and honestly, my friend and i appreciated it, it takes a while to come out which it makes sense, its absolutely busy. Slug and Lettuce is busy on a friday but she still managed, I don’t know how but she is honestly a hard worker and so are the rest of your staff but Jayne was absolutely helpful. ;)”
