I had hoped to enjoy a drink at this pub, which holds sentimental value as it was previously frequented by my father. Upon requesting a specific beverage, the staff member appeared hesitant and informed me that the premises were not actually open. Another staff member observed the interaction without comment. There was no explanation or apology provided regarding the visible “Open” sign. This resulted in an unexpected inconvenience. I would not recommend visiting at this time. The selection of local beers appeared limited based on prior visits, and the overall service experience was somewhat inconsistent”
