Customer Review Summary
Wedding receptions anchor the praise for this pub, with several newlyweds describing a day where nothing went wrong, from a menu catered to gluten free, dairy free and vegan guests to staff who helped move furniture and organise the event. Two other reviewers held a wake here and describe a relaxed, respectful occasion, with a bar server who kept everyone supplied with plates and napkins. Close behind is the food at ordinary meals. Diners name the burger, a 4oz rump steak, a pie, chips, breads and oil, and sticky toffee pudding, and one says the quality of the meat stood out. Reviewers repeatedly describe the decor as stunning and detailed, with a cosy feel and traces of the original farm still visible. Staff are called friendly and welcoming throughout, and a party of 12 says they were fitted in. One reviewer sat outside on a Friday evening to a singer with a guitar, and another stopped in for coffee on a live music day.

“Nice spacious pub/restaurant. We sat outside and had a good quality burger and a decent pie. It was a Friday evening, there was live music outside by a singer with guitar. Good vibes, friendly staff, dog friendly, loads of parking. Will definitely be visiting again in future.”

“We chose the Farm for the wake for my mum . It was a fantastic experience. Liam showed us around and we could choose certain areas we felt were suitable for. The food and teas and coffee were great , and the whole experience was very relaxed and respectful. I’d like to thank Liam for looking after us and also a mention for Katie who was excellent at the bar for all of us and also bringing the food and keeping us replenished with plates and napkins . Highly recommended.”

“We had a lovely pub lunch and couldn’t fault a thing. We started with breads and oil, which were fresh and a perfect way to begin. For mains, we had the burger and the 4oz rump steak, both were cooked beautifully, and the chips were absolutely amazing! The quality of the meat really stood out tbh. Really good, We finished with sticky toffee pudding, which was gorgeous and the perfect end to our meal. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the traditional interior decor made it such a stunning place to sit and relax together and enjoy our food, Overall, fantastic value for money, we’ll definitely be back!”
