  “It's a typical large 'spoons, in what used to be a motor garage. Good selection of beers etc, and the usual' spoons menu, all at reasonable prices. The place was packed with customers having breakfast, as it was the airshow weekend, but service was quite quick and the breckie was good.”

  “Staff were rude, our food took ages to arrive and when it did they forgot to bring our drinks. when we asked about our drinks they were very rude in how they responded and acted. We had to go and grab our drinks from the bar as they didnt bring them too us although we had ordered off the app and requested table service. The food was nice, but a big let down was the service.”

  “Service is shocking, the staff are not bothered about ‘who’s next’ they just serve whoever walks to the bar in their eye line. They are vacant I spoke to a customer a fellow, long waiting, customer, as I was told I would get banned for moaning !! Really ? they need to improve their training, if they get trained. The other Spoons near the station is a lot more efficient with more professional staff”

  “A good Wetherspoons pub in a very central location. It was very busy when we visited Saturday midday and we had to briefly stalk for a table, but one opened up after only a few minutes. Despite the crowds, food and drinks came out fairly quickly and the atmosphere wasn’t overly loud even though every table was full. The toilets were clean and the space overall felt well managed for such a busy venue.”

  “Brilliant pub! Really spacious with plenty of seating both inside and outside, so you never feel cramped. The staff were friendly, attentive and made everything easy from the moment we arrived. Ordering through the app at the table was quick and hassle free, which made the whole experience even smoother. Toilets are conveniently on the same level, including an accessible option which is a nice touch. The food was spot on, really tasty and well presented. Perfect place to unwind after a long day. Definitely recommend giving the Stowford Press cider a try too went down a treat!”

  “This was a lovely pub for drinking, decorated very well for the Christmas period! The counter is neatly presented and the fireplace model incorporated behind it that has snow atop is creative, tinsel surrounds this area too. Had a quick drink of Carlsberg and the location is interestingly set close to the other Spoons for both being in a town, seating is cozy and tables were clean!”

  ““I got 99 problems but lack of beverage choice here ain’t one. SPILL it...” we all have that one favourite Spoons, which just raises the BAR; and The Cornfield Garage is mine (now) I haven’t been to a Weatherspoons in years, but SIP me baby one more time- I was pleasantly surprised with the deals and value on offer. It’s basic pub grub but with a sizeable menu and generous portions . They aren’t pulling your pis%^r, pretending to be anything else. Expect friendly staff, a historic setting and value for money.”

  “The Cornfield Garage is our go-to Wetherspoon in Eastbourne, conveniently located near the city centre. We’ve visited many times and love the classic Wetherspoon menu with its great selection of drinks and affordable meals. The backyard beer garden is a real bonus, especially in summer — perfect for chilling with a pint in the sun. The crowd is mixed — usually friendly, but occasionally a bit rowdy, especially on weekends. Service is generally decent, but during busy times you may have to wait 10–15 minutes for food or drinks. One area that could improve is customer service and crowd management, particularly on weekend nights when things can get hectic. Still, this remains our favourite Spoons in town, and we’d definitely recommend it for a relaxed meal, casual drinks, or catching up with friends without breaking the bank.”
