  “Stopped by on the off chance we could get a table, they managed to seat us and we are so grateful they did! The food was delicious, so much variety, I tried a couple of new dishes which I very rarely do when I eat out but I’m so glad I did! Staff were super friendly, all be it very busy bless them! Can’t fault it :)”

  “Had a great meal with some with colleagues at the Himalayan Gurkha. The service was excellent, as was the food. Reasonably priced too. The fried Momos are a great starter, and the Himalayan Chicken comes with Rice and a Naan. Recommended”

  “Best curry house in derby, hands down. Food is delicious and authentic. Menu is varied with the specials offering something special, the macha karahi being a standout. Staff are a delight. The level of service you receive is excellent. Very welcoming, hospital and efficient. Have often turned up without a booking and they have accomdated for a medium sized group. Can't speak of this place highly enough, have been coming for years now and long may it continue.”

  “The restaurant location is perfectly located within the city centre, the decor is beautiful, the food is delicious however tonight I have to say the service from the amazing staff member Arif was not only a 10 out of 10 but she also recommended the main which I ended up enjoying more than I could have imagined. For those that visit Derby or are located within Derby then I highly recommend this incredible restaurant.”

  “Good service; food to though the heat can be quite intense. For us, low-med would have been just nice. If in doubt at what to order, go for the back page at GBP22.50 pp”

  “Highly rated indeed! Warm welcome from the waiter followed by very tasty food. The menu has a good range of Nepalese specials as well as the classic currys. I had the Lamb Keema Special with a side of curried potatoes (can't remember the name!), very tasty with a gentle spice, a must try! Will be back for certain”

  “Amazing place to eat!! Can’t fault anything. Staffs are amazing and accommodating, food was excellent. One of the best I’ve ever eaten recently and this is the one restaurant I can see myself visiting often with my family. Excellent atmosphere and the decorations is very pleasing to the eye. The table are laid out in an exquisite manner and yeah just all round amazing.”
