  “We visited Istanbul Restaurant today with my wife🥰, my sister-in-law, and a friend, and we had a wonderful experience. We ordered the platters for Four, and the food quality was absolutely excellent. Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. The staff were also very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. They made us feel comfortable and well looked after. Overall, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed both the food and the service. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back again!”

  “In the little town of Derby this authentic restaurant stands out. Food was freshly prepared and delicious. Great attention to detail and we thoroughly enjoyed each bite. Service was excellent and the waiters were friendly and genuine. Highly recommend a visit. Good pricing, great location and excellent food.”

  “Lovely sunny day Platter for 2 to try was amazing. Nice music and atmosphere. Smoking outside seats. Service impeccable. Better than the food actually in Turkey Will definately be back to try more.”

  “ordered a shawarma and an Adana kebab through deliveroo. absolute pitiful amount of bread, like 1 5cm slice; not enough to eat the shawarma with. for a relatively expensive meal this is super disappointing. was good the first time, won't be going back.”

  “The Turkish food was absolutely delicious! The kebab, shawarma, and doner were all amazing and full of flavor. They also offered complimentary tea with fresh bread, which was a lovely touch. The manager, Adel, was very welcoming and treated us so kindly. Great service and a wonderful experience overall!”

  “Great restaurant! From the moment we arrived until the end, the service was excellent and you really feel welcome. The waiter was friendly and cheerful. The food was very tasty, the portions are big, and the main dishes come with generous sides. We really enjoyed it!”

  “Just remember this is a dry restaurant (No Alcohol) Fantastic flavours easy to find and delicious food! On a whistle stop tour to Derby to enjoy a gig at the Valliant Live venue, the Istanbul restaurant was between our hotel and the venue and we love a good Turkish. Restaurant is located close to the centre just adjacent to one of the main entrances to the derbion centre. Parking close by so easy to park. Service is fast, kitchen is as you enter and a friendly team who took great care in preparation of the food. We had a mixed grill for one and also a chicken shish. Flavours are amazing and delicious quality food, rice was hot and fresh and salad crisp and with a great oil/vinaigrette dressing. Bread and sauces served as a complement starter, breads freshly made and so tasty. If your visiting Derby well worth trying if you like Turkish foods!”

  “Visited the restaurant for a mid week dinner and it was an enjoyable one. Was not very crowded, so the meals arrived pretty soon at the table. Ordered a few koftes, kebabs and calamari which were all delicious. The restaurant was very clean and staff were pleasant. While the food menu had a great selection the drinks menu was somewhat limited. Overall great experience.”
