About The Three Little Pigs
The Three Little Pigs is a pub in Crediton, set on the town square at 1 Parliament St, just off the main road. Quirky memorabilia and an eclectic collection of items fill the interior, so there is plenty to look at around the bar. The bar pours a selection of beers and ales, and the kitchen runs a carvery line alongside dishes such as a stuffed pork burger and a calamari starter. A gluten free menu is available, with chips cooked in separate oil for those avoiding gluten. Reservations are required, and dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the interior, a quirky mix of memorabilia and haberdashery all over the place, which one family's daughter turned into a game of I spy while waiting for food. The food comes close behind, with generous portions: loaded chips that two diners could not finish, calamari as a starter, a stuffed pork burger, a chicken pie, and a carvery that one group found well monitored with no long line. Staff are described as friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, and several note how well they handle dietary needs. The reservations are small. One diner found the cheese and bacon burger patties thinner and drier than preferred, and another felt the atmosphere was a little lacking when the room was quite empty at lunchtime. One reviewer also mentions a pub chain taking over and is reserving judgement for now. A gluten intolerant diner had the chef come out to confirm the chips were cooked in separate oil.

“Called in today around 1pm . The food was excellent with a good choice on the menu. The two ladies behind the bar made us most welcome and we couldn't fault the service . Lovely looking pub with many quirky features inside . Very clean throughout If in the area again would definitely call in 🙂”

“2 of us went for a lunch around 1pm Thursday. Sat in restaurant area. Service excellent with friendly and helpful staff. My friend is 100% gluten intolerant. A gluten free menu was found and the chef came out to reassure my friend that the chips were cooked in separate oil to ensure they were not cross contaminated. We both had a tasty cheese and bacon burger with great chips. The patties were a little thinner and therefore drier than I would generally prefer but taste was good. Because the place was quite empty inside the atmosphere was a little lacking. But not a problem. We had a good girly catch up. Will definitely go back again. I noted that a Sunday carvery will start sometime in September. Looking forward to trying that.”

“I’ve only eaten here once, but my son is a regular and it’s brilliant. Small, local, well loved family pub serving very generous sized food portions. First time we can we ordered loaded chips each and despite being a big eater I couldn’t even finish half of it so I was really embarrassed when we both left half but it was absolutely amazing and chef does a great job. I hope Sandra enjoys her retirement, a new pub chain called punch is taking over so I’ll reserve judgement for future and leave a new review when applicable. Definitely recommend recommended though”
