About Old Dyers Arms
Old Dyers Arms is a pub at 1 Spon End in Coventry, close to The Butts arena, so it fills with people having drinks before and after rugby games and events. The bar pours real ale alongside a choice of other beers. Live music, bands or a disco give the evenings a programme, and a pool table gives regulars something to play between rounds. The kitchen serves Sunday dinners, and barbecue evenings are held as well. Dogs are welcome inside, so owners can bring their pets along when they stop in for a pint.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the beer, describing a good choice of real ale, a well poured pint and an excellent Guinness. Sunday dinners come close behind, with one diner calling the freshly made beef and plenty of fresh veg first class. Staff and locals are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming. Several mention live bands, a disco on Saturdays and BBQ evenings, and one notes that dogs are made welcome and the pub is family friendly. A pool table, a smoking area and a good sized beer garden also get mentions. The one sharply negative visit, in November, found the pool table not working, no heating so the pub felt freezing, and a place that was not very accommodating apart from two women, one of whom served them. Others call it a proper, traditional pub, and a few say it is convenient for a drink before and after rugby at The Butts.
