Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the range of real ales, with one calling the Jubilee IPA one of the nicest beers they have had and another praising a great pint pulled by the young woman serving. Wines and spirits get a mention too. The recent renovation by Black Country Ales comes up repeatedly, with reviewers noting more room than the old small layout, comfortable seating, and the feel of a proper, traditional British pub. The rear garden is close behind, described as lovely and south facing, with a big TV and heated outdoor seating. Several describe the landlords and staff as friendly and welcoming, one adds knowledgeable about the beers, and another says the pub is always busy. Food is a smaller note, with bar snacks, tasty cobs and pickled eggs mentioned. One reviewer says cheese and onion batches with black pudding, enjoyed with a pint, sold them on the place.

“The Nursery Tavern is a really enjoyable pub to go to. Compared to the previous small layout inside it now has more room and the seating is well designed and comfortable. There is a very good choice of beers, wines and spirits and you can have well made bar snacks. The garden at the rear of the pub looks lovely. Do give The Nursery Tavern a visit, you will not be disappointed.”
