“Today my husband and I visited for the first time and had a lovely experience. We always look for balanced and tasty food, and this place exceeded our expectations. We are a Mexican couple and after living in England for 7 years, we can honestly say this is the first place in Coventry where we’ve had such a delicious Roast Dinner at a great price. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was calm and cozy, and the place was very clean. We will definitely come back!”

“The Manager in this pub needs sacking . After being intimidated and bullied by a male customer I asked to speak to the manger as I was upset. He refused to help me was backed up by a member of staff who wasn’t helpful either .. The manager behaved in a cowardly way and walked off . I was going to ring the police but I decided to leave ..as I felt vulnerable . This manager was aware I was distressed and walked off , he said he didn’t need this.. I was in shock , he refused to help me in this uneasy situation. My experience in this pub was extremely distressing.”

“I don't live local but have been here 3 times each time for a wake.. Always welcomed & great atmosphere.. I'm in 60s now but obviously in my teens early 20s I've done craven street crawl many times (chestnut was one of many stops) 😁😁”
