  “Unfortunately, this was not the best experience. The food presentation was extremely poor and had to be sent back. We were informed it had been prepared by a junior member of staff; however, at these prices, it is unreasonable for customers to be served food of such a low standard. To make matters worse, we still paid an excessive price for what was essentially a sandwich and soggy fries. The overall experience was further impacted by the attitude at the front desk — the lady appeared to smirk while we were raising our concerns, which felt unprofessional and dismissive.   “Decided on going here as previous visits years ago were good. Unfortunately didn't really get past the door, staff at counter just rude. When this opened the staff were fantastic and very polite. The guy who helped set it up really cared and honestly went the extra mile in quality, cleanliness and customer service. Even today hold one of the original gold keys. Alas nothing good last forever! Some belligerent staff have taken over, zero customer service skills. Definitely don't recommend going here now. Best go to prezzo Bella Italia or even Nandos where at least you will have much better customer service.”

  “Son’s 12th birthday treat request and he was delighted when they came to the table with a happy birthday plate and candle so we could sing to him. Thank you so much. Happy birthday boy and his sister- loved the crepes and cotton candy milkshake. Staff excellent.”

  “This place is very spacious and has a great interior design, Spotless!! I mean it’s pretty obvious that their cleaning standards are high. The staff were honestly amazing, polite and very cooperative. As for the food, the pistachio pancake was literally to die for! Amazingly done and perfectly served. We arrived an hour past the breakfast time but we politely asked if it’s still possible to get the vegetarian breakfast, the staff checked with the kitchen and they kindly agreed to prepare it for us. However it was served so very cold and that was a bummer tbh. It did taste fresh but pretty cold. Rather than that the whole experience was great and will definitely be back again.”

  “Hot Dolce at Cheshire Oaks (Coliseum Way, Ellesmere Port, CH65 9HD) has become one of my absolute favourite spots in the North West. I haven’t tried the Manchester branch yet, but this one holds a special place in my heart — full of great memories and perfect brunches. The venue itself feels luxurious yet welcoming, with a fantastic atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. The interior is stylish and comfortable, creating the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation. The menu is excellent, offering a wide variety of breakfast options, brunch dishes, and beautifully presented desserts. There’s genuinely something for everyone. We usually go for brunch, and our go-to order is the English Breakfast — always perfectly cooked and generously portioned. Last time, we followed it with a Cafe Au Nutella, which was the perfect finish to the meal. The quality of the food and presentation is consistently top-notch. A special mention must go to Imtiaz, who served us on our last visit. He was patient, kind, and incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His service really elevated the experience. Overall, Hot Dolce Cheshire Oaks is a fantastic place to relax, eat well, and enjoy great company. The atmosphere, food, and staff all come together beautifully. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable brunch or dessert outing.”

  “Stopped by the Haute Dolci Cheshire Oaks this morning and had such a lovely experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt just right — the atmosphere was cosy, the food was delicious, and the coffee was perfect. What truly made our visit special was Tressa. She is always so warm and welcoming, treating us with genuine kindness. Her friendly nature really adds a personal touch that makes us feel more like family than customers. We always leave with full hearts (and full stomachs)! So grateful to have a place like this — this place has become one of our favourites. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great treats and even better service!”

  “Great food and a nice brunch spot if you’re shopping at Cheshire Oaks. The uniqueness of this place is their desserts which they have a wide variety in addition to the option of making your own. Atmosphere is great and relaxing. The downside I have to say is the service. It was not busy at the time we went and I think staff was preoccupied with other activities. It took a little over 40 minutes to get our food. Dessert was a lot faster. We saw other tables waiting and overhearing as well about the wait. I mention this to book additional time or to flag to them as they may forget about you. The second topic is the menu. It’s odd how it’s laid out with milkshakes being upfront in the food section instead of back with the dessert. 🍨 Reservation was easy to do. Would recommend getting a dessert here since they have a lot of great choices. A nice place overall. 😊”
