Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the fish and chips, called the best one reviewer had ever had, and a fish sandwich with warm chips gets similar approval. Close behind are the roasts, with the half roast chicken in orange, a Sunday beef roast with great roasties, and a Yorkshire pudding and roasted chicken meal all singled out. The steak and mushroom pie with red wine gravy and the house chips alongside a cheeseburger also stand out, and chicken wings in honey sauce and an afternoon tea service earn mentions. Service is mostly described as friendly and attentive, though one reviewer waited about 25 minutes to order and then 47 minutes for mains, with starters of crispy squid and pork skewers arriving at room temperature and a sticky toffee pudding that tasted pre-packaged. Another wished outside tables were cleared sooner, as beer glasses sat on theirs after seating. One diner who did not reserve was seated without waiting, though they had to place their order at the bar.

“Had a lovely meal here. The cheeseburger tasted good, and the house chips alongside it were exceptional. But the Fuller's London Pride steak and mushroom shortcrust pie stole the show: cooked to perfection, with the red wine gravy complementing it beautifully. Well worth a stop if you're in Bourton.”

“We had a fabulous time at the Willow and the English meal of Yorkshire pudding, roasted chicken and lots of vegetables was so delicious! Our servers Izzy, Tamara and Kaiwyn were all so attentive and helpful to our visit. And their afternoon tea service was exceptional! We will definitely come back if we ever return to BOTW!”

“Sunday lunch was amazing!. We ordered beef & nut roast & a meal off the main menu. The beef was tender, all the veg was cooked perfectly, great roasties. Would definitely recommend.”

“Delicious and succulent fish sandwich they’ve served here. The fish and batter are evenly distributed with a touch of tartare sauce and the chips are nice and warm. The only thing I want to point out is that I do wish the server can clean the table outside on time rather than letting these beer glass sits on our table for awhile when we got seated.”

“Great food, service also good but you needed to order there. I will go back for sure. We didn’t reserve and didn’t wait to be seated.”
