Quick info
About Inn on the Marsh
Inn on the Marsh is a pub on Stow Rd in Moreton In Marsh, set in a listed building on the edge of town. The landlord plays vinyl LPs from his own record collection on a turntable in the bar, which gives the room its soundtrack. The bar has an open fire, with mismatched sofas and chairs among odds and ends of decor. Dogs are welcome, and locals bring them into the bar. Food is served daily from an old-school pub menu that includes burgers, and a separate dining room sits apart from the bar.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return to the food, describing burgers and old school pub fare as freshly cooked, delicious and reasonably priced, with a children's menu mentioned by one family. Close behind is the landlord's vinyl collection, with a record on the turntable and whole albums played while diners eat. Several describe a friendly welcome from the publican, staff and locals, and the bar area's random sofas, odds and ends and big open fire get repeated mentions as cosy. Dogs are fussed over, and one reviewer's dog was given a treat before settling by the fire. Campervan travellers on Brit Stop stopovers appear in several reviews and describe overnight stays in the car park. Reviews raise no recurring complaints, though one visitor only stopped for a drink and heard other customers praise the food. One motorhome guest ended with a pleasant walk around Moreton-in-Marsh the next morning.

“A lovely little pub at the edge of the Cotswolds. Friendly staff, comfortable seating with plenty of space, reasonably priced drinks. We only popped in for a quick drink as we just happened to pass it. I did hear other customers say how good the food was so might go back to try that another time.”

“Stayed overnight in the carpark in our camper. (BRIT STOPS) We found the pub very welcoming right from the minute we walked in. The Publican was great, the other local patrons were great as well. We ate the delicious food from the menu which rated very highly in our UK experience. Decor inside the pub was interesting and there is a massive collection of vinyl LPs with one on the turntable constantly. Highly recommend this pub for food, friendliness and comfort ... 🍽🍺🇦🇺”

“We were here on a Brit Stop pub stopover. Wayne (the Landlord) is a great host and plays good music off his record collection. Food is excellent at good prices.”
