About Snowshill Arms
Snowshill Arms is a traditional pub in the Cotswold village of Snowshill, listed on Snowshill in Broadway, and it pours beers from a small Worcester brewery. Ales and lagers run on draught, and non-alcoholic drinks are also on offer. The food follows a pub menu, with fish and chips with peas as a main and crumble and custard for dessert. Behind the building, a large lawned garden holds a children's playground, so families have room to spend time outside. Dogs are welcome, which suits visitors walking the area with a pet. Parking is available on site.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly staff at this village pub, with several describing a warm welcome and one noting the same faces greeting them every day. Food comes a close second, and one diner names fish and chips with peas, followed by crumble and custard, as tasty, quick and well cooked. Others call the pub menu good and the prices reasonable or good. Ales and lagers on draught draw praise, and one reviewer mentions a choice of drinks with and without alcohol. The beer garden with a children's playground out back appeals to families, and some also describe indoor and outdoor seating. Several reviewers call the setting traditional, old English and homey, with rustic character inside, and one mentions neighbours dropping in for a drink at six or seven. No real complaint recurs, though one reviewer notes the village is very popular with tourists. Visitors stopping in for a quick lunch or before a lavender farm visit say they would come again, and one learned about local food names and flavours from the staff.

“Our stay In Snowshill was enjoyable thanks to the kind staff of the pub who welcomed us every day. It was a rare treat to have a drink with the neighbours who descended on the pub everyday at six or seven. The food was hot and the drinks were cold and we left satisfied.”

“If you’re visiting the Cotswolds, Snowshill is an absolute must-see. It is one of the most idyllic villages in the Cotswolds—if not in all of England. The only downside is that it’s understandably very popular with tourists, so I’d recommend visiting early in the morning or, even better, later in the evening once the tour buses and day visitors have left. That’s when the village is at its most magical. The Snowshill Arms is the perfect place to round off your visit. It’s a charming traditional pub serving honest, well-prepared pub food at very reasonable prices. What stood out the most, however, was the genuinely warm welcome from the staff and the trust they place in their customers, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that is becoming increasingly rare. A lovely pub in a truly beautiful village—highly recommended.”

“Easy parking. Good pub menu offerings. Food came quickly and well cooked and presented. I had fish and chips with peas and crumble and custard. Tasty. Good choice of drinks, both with and without alcohol. Pleasant and friendly service. Good prices. Thank you.”

“Snowshill Arms is one of those places that feels like it’s straight out of a classic British TV series — a perfect blend of a traditional tavern and a welcoming countryside pub. Tucked away in the picturesque village of Snowshill, it has a warm, homey atmosphere that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The interior is full of character, with rustic charm and what seems like a personal touch in every corner — it almost feels like a family-run place, in the best possible way. It’s the kind of pub where you could happily spend hours, whether you’re enjoying a pint, a meal, or just soaking up the authentic Cotswolds vibe. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it. This is the kind of cozy, genuine English pub experience that’s getting harder to find.”

“Stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting the Cotswolds. The staff were very friendly and we learnt a lot about local food names and flavours. A long way from my home address but would certainly come again.”
