Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the midweek two-meal deal, which several describe as good value with hot, tasty food and plenty of choice. Beyond it, one diner praises a Sunday roast with a generous portion, and another enjoyed fries and a chilli mango crispy prawn dish. The beer garden draws comment too. One visitor plans to return on a dry day to use it, and another notes that food is not served to the grassy area. Staff are described as friendly, welcoming and attentive, and one family recalls being seated somewhere quiet, with a high chair added for their baby. A couple of reviewers call the pub spotless. The main criticism comes from one mixed visit. The car park at the side was full, the food left that diner not fussed, and the meal deal did not come off the bill at first because staff said the vegetarian version was excluded. The bill was eventually adjusted after the diner showed them the menu.

“First time in this pub. Food looked great, so just had a portion of fries and a chilli mango crispy prawn dish, lovely....staff pleasant and polite. Ample parking, plenty of seats in garden area, but they don't serve food to the grassy area, that's not a problem though, plenty of seating in and outside. Will now plan a meal for all the family there, can't wait to try the menu....”

“What a wonderful pub. We were greeted with a warm welcome and directed to an appropriate seating area , nice and cool and quiet as we had a 11month old with us , they removed a chair and placed a high chair for us too, she also took our drink and food orders for us . The food was piping hot and delicious, and the presentation was spot on , they also checked in on us a few times making sure we had everything and that we were happy with the food . I have to say this pub is a little gem and a credit to their staff . We will be returning x”
