Customer Review Summary
The Guinness is the draw at this Cardiff Bay pub, with one diner calling it perfect and another the best pint they have had, and one reviewer also singles out the lamb and mint pie. Reviewers close behind praise the friendly staff, who helped one group choose drinks and shared the pub's long history, and the welcoming owners. Many call it a traditional, old school pub with a good beer selection, great prices and a playlist or DJ playing singalong classics. Reviewers mention quiz nights on Thursday, karaoke on Friday, darts and board games. Rugby fans describe a crowded room for matches, though screens are placed subtly and it does not feel like a sports bar. Dogs are welcome, according to one regular who returned after the new management took over. One visitor, caught in a busy afternoon, found the staff friendly while waiting for a bus back into the city centre.

“The owners are absolutely great people, very nice and friendly. The staff is amazing too, always on point. Definitely recommend their pies, my favourite is lamb and mint. According to an Irish feller they serve the best Guiness. I only had my first Guiness recently from that pub, so can’t confirm that, but it is very good and has become my favourite drink since then. There is quiz nights on Thursday and karaoke on Friday, these is also darts and some board games available. Try it out!”
