  “Appalling service from the manager. We booked this beach bar months in advance for a 50th birthday celebration, yet our first round of drinks was served in cheap plastic cups while every other table had glassware. When we politely questioned it, the manager told us they’d run out of glasses and, if we didn’t like it, we could leave. He was rude, unaccommodating, and completely dampened the occasion. We were prepared to spend a lot of money here, but his attitude was unacceptable. He should not be working in customer service.”

  “Beware of service charge! Ordered drinks and had to pay for these before we ordered food and they charged us service charge so when we ordered the food we politely asked for this second service charge to be removed as we had already paid once. Waitress claimed it was included until we had to say this was discretionary and we shouldn’t have to pay for it twice. One to watch out for”

  “If we could give 0 stars we would. Booked a table for 9 people 3 months in advance, to celebrate 3x 50th Birthdays. The table was fantastic, vibe great with a live singer. Ordered our ‘cocktails’ which came in tiny plastic cup at a cost of £10.50 we questioned why we didn’t have glass and were told they had run out of glasses!! We had booked a table for 2hrs we left after our first drink because they couldn’t guarantee that our next drink would be in a ‘glass’! And check out the lemon in one of our drinks 🤢”

  “I went in a group of 4 over the weekend, and all of us had food poisoning the same night. The food was not great, seemed like it had just been left out on a heater and not made fresh to serve. However, service was great and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone for a few drinks, though it is quite pricy but definitely do NOT recommend eating there.”

  “It was my last day in Brighton after two months and I wanted to spend it chilling in this restaurant watching the sunset while drinking a cocktail and something to eat. It was a very sad experience. I sat outside and after 15 minutes I had to get inside searching for someone who could take my order….After having ordered and paid drink and food I didn’t see anyone…As it was too windy and cold I decided to go inside and in that moment I saw my cocktail waiting on the counter ….but the waiters were busy to collect empty plates and glasses. I would like to underline that the restaurant was not so crowded (I can only imagine how could it be if so)…When finally I decided to speak up after 5 minutes my plate came out…and guess what???? I didn’t expect that the mussels were going to be presented in such a strange way… and the bread? Totally burned… My suggestion is that it is better to go somewhere else….”

  “I am writing this review while sitting down because I couldn't wait. This fish and chips is disgusting. The chips are good, but the fish is disgusting. I was not expecting it. I mean, you guys are on the beach side, and yet you are still selling this disgusting fish. Shame on you.🤢🤢🤮🤮 Waste of my money.”

  “Wonderful place to spend an afternoon by the sea with excellent food and drinks. What a magnificent discovery. The staff is super friendly and efficient and the food is very good and fresh. The location is a must... nice outdoor terrace by the sea. Definitely a place to go to when in Brighton.”

  “A beachfront restaurant with a great view. The fish and chips and the mussel dish were decent, but the service was rather unfriendly. I asked for a recommendation for a British lager, but the beer I was given turned out to be Spanish when I looked it up. Prices are on the higher side, and while it’s conveniently located near the tour bus meeting point and nice for the sea view, there was nothing particularly special considering the cost. Pimms, a British cocktail, wasn’t on the menu, but when I asked a male staff member, he offered to make one for £10. With better service, this could easily be a 4-star place, so service improvement is definitely needed.”

  “atmosphere good, especially they have outside seats. service not bad, but.... taste..? because am I order the fish & chips? I don't know... the size was huge too much, the taste of sauces is provocative.. seems like Wasabi but not, looks like Rench sauce but taste not... omg”

  “Amazing food the best fish chips I ever had. Fresh gynormous fish. Great bubbles. Nice pods that you can sit in outside. Friendly staff. I give this experience an overall 10/10. Recommend it to everyone 100%.”
