  “I had one of the most delightful dining experiences today at the College of Food in Birmingham. From the moment the dishes arrived, it was clear that great care had gone into both preparation and presentation. The brownie was absolutely heavenly, rich, moist, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The chowder was equally impressive, especially with the comforting soup that accompanied it, warm, flavourful, and deeply satisfying. My main meal was truly special and completed the experience beautifully. Every element of the meal reflected skill and attention to detail. It was not just a meal, but a memorable culinary experience that I would happily enjoy again.”

  “Visited for the first time to try The Americas Menu. We had a lovely time. All the students and staff were very friendly, chatty and attentive. They were always ensuring our water was topped up and that we were enjoying our food, and keeping us up to date with timings for food and drinks to come out. First you are given a complementary soup, which was very smooth and tasty. Then starters are brought out with freshly baked corn bread (delicious). It would be nice to have some extra butter and salt available at the table for this. The mains were a normal size dish (I was expecting fine dinning portions but was pleasantly surprised and stuffed by the end of dinner). Fried chicken was very flavourful, juicy and crispy (but a little heavy on the stomach), steak was cooked to perfection with lovely crispy chips and creamy sauce. After mains we given a complementary chocolate mousse and raspberry petit four tart - very pleasant. Dessert options looked incredible. The pecan tart was decadent and the star dish for us. The upside down cake was a little disappointing, it was a little too dry for us but interesting flavours nonetheless. We were also offered complementary coffee or tea at the end of the meal which was a good touch. The restaurant area is massive and the table are very spaced out which can feel a little clinical, but it was nice and well kept. At the end of our meal we struggled to retrieve our coat from the coat rack at the entrance, as everyone’s coats look so similar and our coats weren’t kept together. I would have preferred to have kept the coat on my chair personally. Another point I noticed was that the drinks were quite pricey, I think for a training restaurant the price of these should be a bit lower.”

  “Arranged a works meal for 20 colleagues, needed regular communication in the lead up as people dropped out, it was no problem. On arrival we had drinks by very polite bar staff before being shown to our seats. Everything was laid out immaculately and the food was outstanding. We had arrancini balls as a pre starter, which really set the expectations high, it was delicious! Around the table, from the cod, beef, lamb, duck and vegetarian options everyone loved the quality, taste and portion size...even the veg and roasted baby new potatoes were delicious! The desserts were also stunning in presentation, from mousse, trifle, baked Alaska, many of us were unable to finish as we were so full from previous courses! The overall costs was under £40 for 3 courses plus drinks - outstanding value for money! The staff were courteous and attentive and wish them all the best in their careers. Can't wait to go back! 🤞🙏”
