  “Really disappointing experience. The place was unclean, and the staff came across as extremely rude and entitled. I simply asked if I could use the toilet because I wanted to wash my hands, and I was told I couldn’t because I wasn’t a customer. I wasn’t trying to walk in and use the facilities without asking — I politely asked first, which I think makes a difference. As someone who has worked in hospitality and food establishments, I honestly find this attitude unnecessary. If someone politely asks to wash their hands or use the toilet, I don’t understand why it needs to be treated as such a serious issue. Obviously, businesses have their own policies, but there is still a way to communicate them respectfully. The cleanliness and the attitude of the staff both left a lot to be desired. Definitely not an experience that would make me want to return.”

  “I placed a delivery order via Deliveroo. We had the combo box with a superstar burger and wings plus skin on fries, which were all fresh and delicious. We also had a Lunch meal deal with a BBQ wrap and peri fries, that was also really nice. We also had an Archies Shake which was amazing. I also ordered a hot cheese dip which was great for the fries.”

  “Excellent restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere! The burgers were absolutely delicious, and you can really taste the quality of the beef. Knowing that the meat is halal made the experience even better. The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was also quick, and the restaurant was clean and well organized. The only thing I would suggest is adding Sprite or 7UP to the drinks menu. A lemon-lime soft drink would be a perfect addition to such great burgers. Overall, I had an excellent experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious halal burgers in Birmingham! , thank you Simran and Arshiya”

  “AMAZING! Best smash burgers we have ever had. Service was quick, the place was immaculate, the staff are amazing! In particular Simran, she gave friendly, fast service and was incredibly helpful. 10/10 experience 10/10 service 1000000/10 burgers”

  “we had a really nice experience at archie’s today, mainly cus of the pretty worker. her name was tee :) , she was super patient with us & just genuinely kind the whole time. made us feel welcome straight away & checked in without being over the top. the food was nice too, loved the superstar. :)”

  “Not good. Sitting space downstairs, was empty in the peak weekend evening. Scary as no ventilation and lonely. Food not great. Even in a group when everyone takes different items, you got to get atleast one thing that tastes good, and might tell others to take it next time.. but we didn't discover any such thing. The desserts were over sweet, and nobody in our group managed to finish theirs. At the counter we were given a look rather than extra tissue on asking. And even got a '*"whatever with eyes roll"*' on asking for a dip that they missed to serve with the order (for which we had already paid EXTRA!). The lighting of the sitting area downstairs is too bright and uncomfortable. DO NOT ENTER IF YOU HAVE PHOTOPHOBIA. Very average or below average place.”

  “Been meaning to try Archie's, not inside the Bullring, so a few minutes walk away. Inside was spacious, with lots of seating downstairs. Was very cold inside, service was great, the lady behind the counter (had a hijab on) took time to recommend and explain the items. Food came quick, decently priced and tasted nice, good flavour and portion. They have shakes and desserts also, but we didn't try them Definitely one to try.”
