Service is at the table, and reservations are required. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday and closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
The seven course tasting menu is what several diners come for, often for birthdays and special occasions, with wine pairings and a sommelier who gets praise. Veal sweetbread is the dish named most, one reviewer calling it mind-blowing, while others single out the salt marsh lamb with its subtle curry aroma, the wild turbot, a scallop dish, Cornish mackerel and mushroom agnolotti. One party had the menu adapted for pescatarian and allergy needs. Service is mostly called friendly and attentive. The criticism is specific. One reviewer says the waiter asked them not to film the presentation of a dish and that staff seemed to look down on them, and another found some staff not particularly welcoming. That first reviewer was also surprised that a Groupon voucher visit carried a service charge based on the full menu price. Another diner reports a wine differing from the menu because the sommelier had some left in the bottle, and found no place for a bag and a napkin on the floor. A birthday card waiting on the table opened one celebratory visit.

“We headed to Adam’s to experience their Birmingham Restaurant Festival menu (available throughout August) and every course was as impressive as you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The menu is £80, and we opted for the £55 wine pairing to match each course. We enjoyed all the wines and felt they completed the courses superbly. From the super-clever snacks to the beautifully crafted dishes, there was so much to love. The Cornish mackerel and mushroom agnolotti were our standout favourites. My only constructive feedback would be that for this calibre of restaurant I’d expect somewhere to put my bag (like the little stools you get at 670 Grams or Opheem) and I’d not expect to find my napkin on the floor when returning from the bathroom. One of the wines we were served wasn’t what was stated on the menu and the sommelier said it was because he had some left in the bottle. I don’t know if we got a wine that was better or worse than what we were supposed to get, but some may rather be served what is listed/be asked if they minded changing for the sommeliers choice. Still a 5 star experience and we will 100% be back, but having been to lots of Michelin/fine dining restaurants, these little things do matter.”

“Second time visiting Adam’s. We tried the Restaurant Festival menu, which was great value for money - £80 for five courses, plus starters and dessert. Overall, I think this is a solid one-star experience in terms of both the food and the standard. I personally loved the creativity of the dishes and the flavours. The service could be improved though, as some members of staff were not particularly welcoming. That said, we still had an enjoyable evening.”

“We visited Adam’s for lunch to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive and professional—and the team made the occasion feel really special. The food was exceptional, with every dish beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The quality and attention to detail were evident throughout. A particular highlight was the vintage Champagne, which was absolutely superb and the perfect way to celebrate. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, making it the ideal setting for a special lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended and thoroughly deserving of five stars.”

“Had a great meal at Adams yesterday evening. I took the veal sweetbreads as a starter which I love but rarely see on a menu in the UK. Very nicely prepared. My wife loved her scallop dish and we both enjoyed the turbot maim course. Service was excellent with good advice on the wines. It was good to have red wine served at the correct temperature which isn’t always the case. We’ll be back.”

“We visited here for my 40th birthday. We chose the 7 course tasting menu with option 2 paired wines. Everything was fantastic. The service was attentive but not OTT, the sommelier was just what you’d want from one and the food led the way and was delicious and perfect. Will certainly visit again.”
