Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the owner, who several describe as welcoming, personable, and cooking the food himself, and reviewers say he made the visit feel like family. The chicken and rice box draws the most repeat praise, with the lazeez chicken naan roll, lamb chops, masala fish, and a beef burger with crispy fries close behind. One reviewer calls the spicy chicken wrap huge with generous filling, and the sheekh kebab arrives piping hot. Tea is described as homemade and fresh. Reviewers also praise the contemporary decor and gold accents. The main caveat comes from one reviewer who found the wrap super dry for its price and the seating so tight it felt like eating with the next table. Another says the place feels underrated after arriving to few other customers. Several describe a server or the owner checking back to ask for feedback on the food, and a few say they have already added it to their regular spots.

“Honestly the food was amazing. The tea alone is like homemade which on the hall green high street you can’t get. The chicken and rice is amazing. The owner cooks the food himself and the staff are friendly and treated with respect. Hands down one of the best places I’ve been to in Birmingham”

“I would just like to say that I visited this restaurant today with my family, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner took the time to speak with us personally, which made our visit even more enjoyable and memorable. The service was excellent throughout, and we felt genuinely valued as customers. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this place to others looking for great food and outstanding hospitality.”

“Went on a friday night in the last hour, we were the only ones there. 10 by 10 for decoration and dining area design, very nice. Friendly owner and very personable. We ordered - paratha chicken burger with fries - spicy chicken wrap (grilled chicken pieces diced, fries, salad and chilli sauce compacted in a roti/wrap) - just had to try their sheekh kebab 4 pieces in a portion. Served with a mint sauce. All was made fresh and was served piping hot. Food was tasty. The wrap as a main was mahoosive (ginormous), generous filling. It reminded me of a shawarma wrap with chicken pieces and fries in a wrap. Go on a empty stomach .... like I did!”
