  “Absolutely amazing experience at Mint Breakfast Place. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented easily one of the best breakfast spots around. The service was outstanding from start to finish, with staff being welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere was perfect too; clean, relaxing, stylish, and had such a positive vibe throughout. A special thank you to the manager who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell they care about customer experience and maintaining high standards. Hospitality like that makes people want to come back again and again. Highly recommend Mint to anyone looking for quality food and excellent service!”

  “I really enjoyed my trip to Mint. 1 of the unique features is the traditional pizza/naan oven. There is enough seating inside that feels spacious, booths at the back. Clean environment. Very fast service. Friendly staff. There is a good selection off food on the menu, including traditional middle eastern options & veg options. The only thing i would recommend is adding some good mocktails to the menu. I enjoyed the vegi breakfast & will be a returning customer.”

  “I took my husband here for his birthday brunch and it was outstanding! We had the Desi Dawn breakfast and everything from the portion size and quality to the taste was exceptional. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was great—nice and relaxed, and not too loud. There is a fantastic variety on the menu - definitely something for everyone.   “I recently visited Mint Café in Birmingham after seeing their appealing food pictures online — especially the cake selection, which initially drew me in. Unfortunately, my overall experience was quite underwhelming. I ordered the Desi Dawn, along with a Lotus Biscoff cheesecake and a karak chai. Starting with the desi breakfast: it was okay, not terrible, but not great either. The food could have been served warmer. The portion sizes I would say werent in allignment. The Poori to food ratio wasnt right i.e you would finish your pooris but still have chana/halwa left. Adding one or two more would make a big difference. Now, moving to the part I was most looking forward to: the cheesecake. I love cheesecake. The display looked amazing and was what initially convinced me to visit — but the taste didn’t live up to the visuals at all. I got foodfished/catfished! The Lotus Biscoff cheesecake was bland, lacking real flavour, and it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The base was far too soft and crumbly — it broke apart too easily when it should’ve been slightly firmer and a bit chilled to hold its shape. Visually, it looked indulgent; taste-wise, it fell flat. Just doesnt taste as good as it looks. As for the karak chai, it was another disappointment. It didn’t come close to the standard benchmark set by places like Chaiiwala, Chai Green, ChaiPaani and others. The flavour was basic and lacked that depth and richness that a proper karak should have. Ranked in the bottom two. One small but significant detail that really took away from the overall experience was the ordering system. Instead of taking orders at the table, customers have to go up to the till to place them. While I understand this might be convenient for staff, it genuinely detracts from the café experience. It breaks the flow of sitting down, settling in, and being served — especially when there are staff already on the floor. If you’ve got servers in the café, they should ideally come to the table to take orders, as that’s the common practice and part of what makes dining out enjoyable. To sum up: Like a few other places, Cafe Mint Café is just yet another instagrammable place — the food and desserts photograph beautifully — but when it comes to actual taste, service, and quality, it doesn’t live up to the hype. It’s another example of a place that prioritises presentation over substance. I hate to make a generalisation but it seems to be the case that girls opt for Instagrammable places that fall short on taste whilst guys tend to judge based on the actual substance and the Instagrammable factor is secondary. Defintely not the place I'd bring the boys to, id probably get violated 'we didnt come for looks we came for quality, why have you brought us here?'”
