Customer Review Summary
Peri-flavoured chicken and fries anchor the praise, with diners naming the quarter chicken, chicken loaded fries and Afrikana fries that three cousins finished between them. Close behind is the bunny chow, which a South African reviewer said matched home, with generous portions. One reviewer praised a halloumi 'n' rice in the Peri spice level and the many vegetarian options. Others mention nachos, the Bite Me starter and a Kenya platter. Food is repeatedly described as arriving very fast, including for a last-minute party of fifteen who were seated immediately. The main complaint comes from a reviewer whose large order came out quickly, with lovely flavours but chicken skin that was not crispy and still fatty and rubbery. Another found the wings in the fire flavour not spicy at all. Servers are consistently called friendly and welcoming, and one reviewer noted staff asked several times about a cousin's allergies and supplied a separate allergen list. Two birthday tables were surprised with a slice of cake after their meal.

“The halloumi 'n' rice was 10/10 - I got it in the Peri spice level and it was the perfect balance of mild and spicy. So many great vegetarian options! Our server Jay was really friendly, welcoming and helpful - thank you for a wonderful service!”

“Did a fairly large order. The order was there in 5 mins! Incredibly fast. Suspiciously a bit too fast. The flavours were lovely. BUT the chicken was not really grilled enough. The skin in the chicken not crispy and was still fatty and rubbery. That is what happens when your busy and the food is sent.out so quick. Such a shame. The chicken was still cooked and moist. Loved the fries. They were amazing. My wife loved the okra. It was okay. The flavours on everything was 10/10 but the execution on cooking the chicken was not the best at all. 5/10 on the cook. The service was outstanding. Every memeber of the team on a bustling floor was attentive, covering for each other in terms of tables and checking in in diners. Really impeccable and the energy, passion, enthusiasm was there and on point. Well done!!! Tyrece was 10/10. Through out the meal from beginning to end he was outstaning. He was friendly, built rapport, made suggestions, checked in. He was great. Thankyou I would definitely come again.”

“Dined here today with my family, 15 of us arrived very last minute but the service was brilliant, we got seated literally immediately with great hospitality. The food was genuinely one of the best me and my family have had in a very long timee! even the kids with us had finished there food and they never do that. Food came out under 10 minuted of ordering, no joke or exaggeration we were all genuinely shocked at how fast it came out, the waitress was also brilliant with serving, hosting, and made no mistake. The waiter at check out also was so kind and friendly. All in all everything was smooth, brilliant, family friendly, with a beautiful atmosphere and food was divine!!”

“I went down to Afrikana with my two cousins and we both had an amazing time! I ordered ‘put a wing on it’ and chose the flavour fire. I would give it a 8/10 due to the fact that it wasn't, in my opinion, spicy at all. It did have some sauce on it but I do feel like they could make it more fiery as if I'm not wrong, it's the highest spice level they do. I also ordered Afrikana fries with it which got eaten by all three of us, it tastes really nice! My cousin ordered chicken loaded fries and she enjoyed it! And my other cousin ordered the quarter chicken that was mixed peri flavoured and she quite liked it too. One of my cousins has a few allergies, they made sure to give a seperate list of the items that contain anything that could potentially cause allergies and the staff did ask a few times to make sure they knew what allergies she had. The service was great! We got served and taken care of by both Manvir and Haych and they did a really great job of making us feel welcome and checking up on us. We appreciated it! Overall, we had a great time and would come again!”
