  “Had the chicken wrap, chips and a coke… that is underselling it somewhat though!!! The chips are some of the best ive ever had, the chicken was banging and the sauces 🤤 Great guys, great food and being next door to kfc I would be suprised if kfc can ever get anywhere near this!”

  “Absolutely love Funky Chips! The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The portions are generous, and everything is cooked perfectly every time.   “Shehryar was very friendly and provided outstanding customer service 🤩. It was my first time trying the pizza 🍕 fries and he explained there were different types of spice levels. Since my mum was with me and she’s 🌶️ lover we went for medium. That consisted of chipotle sauce and he offered us Jalapeños and onions. The food was made with care with fresh crunchy Jalapeños and onions. I am glad he told us that there’s different spice levels as I need the least spicy one 😅 I would totally recommend!”

  “Ignore the negative reviews those people simply just don’t know how to order. The chips are double cooked fresh for your order. Well each time I’ve been I’ve had an enjoyable experience. From the hot freshness of the food to the numerous of juicy flavours you can pick. The small portion is more than enough for me and that’s quality!”

  “Remembered this place when I first tried it around 6 years ago, had to come back again and still, the quality remains. Fresh chips everytime, and u can customise it just the way u want with the wide variety of toppings, chips are halal as theyre fried separately to what the meat products are fried in, not sure if their meat is 100% halal however. Service is quick, nice and friendly. Extremely friendly prices for the portion of food that you are getting.”

  “Ordered a burger and it arrived like this??? Did you guys genuinely heat it up with a flame thrower?? Didn’t taste the nicest either, although the chips were amazing. Just very disappointed with my cremated burger.”

  “The chips from this place really steal the show! Been here a number of times and they have consistently been crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, like the perfect chip! They always come out fresh and there’s a great range of sauces and toppings to choose from. They do cost extra but totally worth it. Last time I tried their vegan burger and it was surprisingly good. However the cheese is a bit weird and jelly like though so I would recommend going without it. As it is a little stall type shop with no seating, it is best to eat on the go before the food gets cold. Because of this, the atmosphere does get dragged down. Majority of the workers there are warm and welcoming and service is always up to standard, with food coming out close to the time they tell you that it'll be ready. Highly recommend the Cajun sauce on the chips. It’s just addictively good!”

  “Excellent service - the staff are very polite, and take care of all their customers. There are no tables or dining in. Just take-out. It's very convenient for a quick lunch or takeaway at the end of your working shift. It's in a very busy and compact area of Bull Street, next to KFC. It's almost a street style food place with an open shop (no shop front) and the order is made super quick and fresh on order. The takeout packaging always improves, with more options now on the menu is Chip Burger. They have countless sauces and fresh ingredients. The menu is entirely based on potato Chips and adding flavour with other ingredients and cheese (if preferred).”
