Customer Review Summary
Curries anchor the praise, with reviewers singling out the banana tree prawn curry, the tofu banana curry, and the upgraded curries on the bottomless bowls offer, which one diner called great value. Close behind, the sweetcorn fritters are described as the star of one meal, and a server's ramen suggestion pleased a lunchtime visitor. Cocktails and the two for one deal also earn kind words, and several mention friendly servers and vegan and gluten free requests handled well. Noodle dishes draw mixed reactions. One reviewer found an unpleasant aftertaste in a chicken noodle dish, and another found dry steak and noodles that looked like they had sat. The Mekong prawns, satay skewers, and spring rolls with wilted lettuce also disappointed, and a few note slow food. Two reviewers say the added service charge came off the bill once they asked.

“The vibes of the place was nice, outside seating was comfortable and nice to sit down. Service was okay but not much conversation or interaction with server so not sure why there was a service charge- was removed. Waited around 25-30 minutes for food, Banana tree prawn curry was really good, steak pad Thai wasn’t the best as steak was a bit dry and noodles looked like it sat for quite a while before serving. Spring rolls was silly for the price considering there was four with wilted lettuce. Overall the food and service was okay but ‘okay’ at most.”

“Great food and very attentive staff. We were in a rush for the theatre and staff (Irinai) ensured we were looked after very quickly. We need vegan and also vegan gluten free food and we were fully catered for. The food was lovely. My daughter loved in it. As a bonus I hadn't realised that children eat free! Bargain in city centre Birmingham.”

“Very nice little restaurant. The cocktails were actually very nice, the two for one deal were not bad at all. I didn’t try the food but I’ve heard good things but it was overall a nice spot.”

“It was lunchtime and I stopped by for the first time without any expectation. Franklin welcomed me with a big smile and suggested a delicious ramen, which I enjoyed while appreciating a nice view and my book. Thank you, Franklin, for your attentive service and kindness. I will definitely return with my family and friends.”
