Customer Review Summary
Families return most for the garden and its kids' play area, which reviewers mention repeatedly, along with the large outdoor TVs used for watching the World Cup. Food comes in close behind, with diners praising the mushroom pie, the gammon Sunday roast, the cheesecake and the chicken strips. Staff are described as friendly, welcoming and consistent in both busy and quiet periods, and several note the pub is dog friendly. The beer choice draws comment, including a selection of four lagers, and one visitor who stayed in Bexley called the pub one of the best memories of their trip. The main criticisms are modest. One reviewer found the mini hash browns too salty and the food only ok, another says the rest of the garden needs some work beyond the new play frame, and a third calls the food decent for a pub. Even so, a few reviewers say they plan to come back for the Sunday roast or to bring their dog.

“The best pub in Bexley!? The staff were very polite and accommodating, food was served on time and was absolutely lovely - we cannot fault the menu one bit. Plenty of beer and drinks to accommodate any situation. Without a dough the best pub in Bexley. An absolute credit to the landlords who have done a fantastic job.”

“Had such a good experience here. Since the garden upgrade it’s made visiting so much more enjoyable for the whole family. My kids love to play in their playground while we sit in the garden having drinks and dinner, we especially love the new large tvs they have outside and visited on many occasions to watch the World Cup. 10/10 would recommend this pub. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit unforgettable”
