Customer Review Summary
Pizza comes up most often. One diner calls the large pizzas delicious, a reviewer's son enjoyed his, and a third found it edible but oily and short on seasoning. Close behind are the burgers and tacos, including a Flame Maple Bacon Burger with cheesy and loaded fries. Diners also name the pork belly, garlic prawns, roast chicken and pulled pork with a massive Yorkshire pudding. Reviewers also praise the cask beers, a dry but not sharp Pinot, the friendly staff, the big garden, the England matches and the dog friendly welcome. One mentions an upstairs room with a view of the train tracks. The recurring complaint is value. One reviewer describes a chicken burger as big as a chip with a burnt bun that staff would not swap, and says the prices are a joke. Another found the dishes a little small, and a third felt the room was filled with smoke from the fire. One diner whose wife's birthday meal went wrong says the manager offered her a complimentary drink and dessert.

“I had the pizza along with 3 others in our party. When they arrived they were quite large but oh so delicious! Others in out party had the roast chicken and the pulled pork. It was very filling and had a massive Yorkshire pudding. We also had some chicken strips which were really nice. This place is dog friendly.”

“Such a cosy little pub. Friendly pub. The fire was a nice touch but most of the room was filled with smoke so hope you got good lungs on you.💨 The pizza was okay, it seemed it missed something, maybe some more seasoning but it was edible. Also oily.🍕 Good games, the upstairs had a good view was the train tracks🚂”
